Prednisone prescribed after one month checkup. What exactly will this help? (photo)

At my one month checkup my PS told me I wasn't massaging firmly enough and showed me another tenique in which I firmy pull the breast upward to stretch it underneath and firmly press in. He also prescribed prednisone. He said things were fine, but I keep reading about CC and doctors prescribing prednisone. He said it will simply help the muscles relax and reduce inflammation. My breast look good, just still riding high and tight. Should I be worried?
