Thank you for your question. There are several options you can choose from to help with these lines. A good under eye topical serum and sunscreen would be a good place to start. CO2 skin resurfacing laser is very beneficial for increasing collagen and elasticity production. Fractional with the Palomar Icon is also a good treatment for smoothing out fine lines and plumping the skin Consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon for treatment options that will work best for you.
Thank you for posting this question, as many patients feel that Microdermabrasion is the answer to all of their concerns with their skin, however, this is not the case. It does have its place and if your expectation is to smooth your skin and have it feel nice and clean, this is the right treatment for you, but that's all it's going to do. If you are looking for a substantial change to your loose skin, you will have to look at surgical intervention or a series of deeper treatments of Fraxel or Erbium laser. Talk to your Dermatologist about what is the right way to get the most results for your money.I hope this has helped.Best regards,Sheetal Sapra MD, FRCPC
