Hello there! I’m 21 and I’ve got terrible under eye dark circles (genetically). My dermatologist suggested I get Belotero fillers. Is it too early to start getting fillers? I’m afraid that my under eye will age fast once I stop getting them done and I’ll have no option than to keep getting them for the rest of my life.

Answer: Eye fillers HI there and thank you for your question. You are not too young for fillers. I suggest you find a very reputable doctor to administer the filler. You can get a short lasting filler to see how you like it then later a longer lasting one. If done correctly, the results are amazing. Best wishes.Dr. T

Answer: Fillers for tear troughs Young people can genetically have tear trough hollows. If their appearance bothers you, fillers would be an appropriate treatment. Usually, the medial cheek needs to be treated first to give support to the area and then the tear trough is assessed to see if filler is needed there. This area should only be treated by an experienced physician to avoid any potential problems.
