Noticed this very recently and now I can’t unsee it but it’s a very small slightly indented scar between my eyebrows that just looks like a tiny dot, I’m not even sure if it is a scar but it’s been annoying these past few days because it’s right in the middle of my face, I can’t really feel a dip when I roll my fingertip through the scar but it looks like it’s indented but doesn’t feel like it, again it’s incredibly small.

As a board-certified dermatologist, this sounds like a very small, superficial or early atrophic (slightly indented) mark—and in many cases, what you’re noticing may not even be a true scar, but a minor textural irregularity, pore, or shadow effect.

The fact that you can’t feel a dip but see one is reassuring. True scars are usually both visible and palpable. When it’s only visual, lighting, skin dryness, or recent inflammation (like a small pimple) can make it appear more noticeable.

For something this small, I would start very conservatively:

- Focus on skin quality first: gentle exfoliation (like a retinoid), good hydration, and daily sunscreen can help smooth texture over time.
- If it persists and truly is a tiny depressed scar, microneedling or a light fractional laser can stimulate collagen and blend it.
- In select cases, a very small amount of filler can be used, but that’s usually unnecessary for something this subtle.

Importantly, scars—especially tiny ones—are rarely “erased,” but they can often be made much less noticeable.

Given how recent this is, I would avoid jumping into procedures right away. Many of these improve on their own over a few weeks to months.
