Would Invisalign fix my deep bite?

Question

I have a pretty deep overbite and I’m wondering how my face would change if I got Invisalign. My face became pretty flat after I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth out 2 years ago. I think I have a pretty decent side profile and have always been fond of my jaw line, but I’m noticing I have a weak chin and my sister said my jawline looks like a crescent moon (lol) I am attached to my features. How would my face change if I got Invisalign? There isn’t many cases on deep bites I’m finding.

Invisalign is great at making a lot of different bite and alignment corrections. Deep bite correction is NOT one of them. It can be done in many cases with judicious treatment planning and proper aligner construction. But the result is often somewhat less then the goal. For this reason, we build over-correction in to the aligners in the hope part-way to overcorrection equals our target correction. Be sure to visit an experienced orthodontist who understands these mechanics. You facial may lengthen a bit depending on the mechanics used to correct the bite.
