Q I had Voluma done for my under eye hollows and now its uneven and lumpy. Can my filler be corrected? (photo)

Hello, I'm so sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the treatment you received. The tear trough, or under eye area is a very delicate area to inject. Voluma is a more robust filler and that would not be the filler of choice for most injectors to use.
It's hard to determine from you picture, and as there is not a pre-injection photo to compare. You may have a little malar edema in the area that is contributing to the overall result as well. Hyaluronidase injections would be the best to dissolve the Voluma and take away the lumpiness.
Please see an experienced and well qualified injector for your injections.
Good luck to you.

Dermal Fillers
Q Could I benefit from a dermal filler in the nasolabial fold region? I am 26 years old. (photos)
A
Hello and thank you for the question. Your folds do not appear to be very deep so you may be a good candidate to have filler placed in this area. It is always a good idea to have an in person consultation for this, as it is helpful to have the injector assess you with animation and natural movement. Please be very careful not to have this area completely filled so there is no fold as this is a very unnatural look.
Good luck!

Juvéderm
Q Should I worry about a little bruising that came up on my lip after Juvederm? (Photo)
A
Hi,
Bruising can happen with lip filler and is not dependent upon the volume so much as the placement. The bruise can last up to 2 weeks. I'm not sure if you were told, but try to avoid any blood thinners about a week prior to any injection as this could potentially make any bruise a little worse than normal. Arnica and or Bromelain may help. You can also alternate warm and cold compresses to help the bruise dissipate a little more quickly.
Q How can I tell if the injections were improperly placed? (Photo)

Hi,
The tear trough area is a sensitive area to treat. You have some malar edema or swelling in the area due to the blockage of the lymphatics. Product may have been injected and is putting pressure on the lymphatic system. If you do not want to dissolve the product, you could try lymphatic drainage or massage. I hope this helps.
