Yes it is possible to reorientate your tip cartilage and the dependant hang with surgery. This requires specialist skills so you should consult with a rhinoplasty expert who has extensive experience to create a natural outcome.

A: Hello, upper jaw surgery frequently causes changes to the nose- widening and a change in tip position are the most common after impaction or advancement. A rhinoplasty can narrow the nostril base and rotate the tip down successfully without lip surgery. It’s best to consult a rhinoplasty expert who has experience in a Craniofacial service to help you.

A: Thanks for the question. Your nose looks also slightly deviated from the front.
Rotating your tip down to lengthen it would likely need small grafts from your nasal septum and a slight change to the shape of your tip cartilages. If you have not had previous nasal surgery this goal is usually successful . I would recommend a face to face consultation for photography and a simulation initially. Hope this helps. Regards

I have never seen keloids or heard them described in an exetrnal nasal scar in the last 30 years.

Sculpting the bony part of your nose to create better symmetry is one of the many benefits of ultrasonic (piezo) surgery.
For precise changes you should however only consult with a Rhinoplasty expert who has extensive experience with this technique.
