I had BBL and Halo the same appointment, BBL first. Between the two I got numbing cream on my face and had to wait 40 minutes for it to start working. The Halo itself wasn't comfortable but I could get through it. However, afterwards, OW. OWWW. I was told I'd have a little heat for half an hour but my skin was melting off my face for an hour and a half, it was horrible. I don't know if it was worse because I got it at the same time as the BBL but holy chicago it was the most awful thing. I would never do the two same day again. My face was ridiculously swollen for 3 days. For 2 more days after that it was flaking to the point where makeup wouldn't have really helped. I'm 8 days out now and I'm still pretty red, but if I wore makeup I'd look normal. I'm purging pretty bad too. Based on my conversations with the folks at the office, many of whom have had it done, they said that the effects are worth the discomfort and swelling and all that so we'll see how it turns out. At the time I was cursing myself for choosing to get it and thinking I would never do it again, but if the results are good it's really not that long of a time to be feeling miserable. And my misery might have been less without a BBL at the same appointment. I would not do this without a long weekend plus two days off work.

I get frequent migraines and a daily low grade headache. The few times I've gotten xenomin injections ( a more natural form of botox) my daily headaches have disappeared and I can go up to 2-3 months with out a migraine! This is a miracle and definitely improves the quality of my life/ stress level/ and general overall elevated mood. Okay, yes, it's a bit of vanity as well since my "11's" disappear and the frown on my face is smooth and I look happier as a result with less lines on my 50+ face. But the absence of the migraines/headaches is the real star here! The doctors at Rejuvenation MD are skilled and their use of needles causes minimal discomfort. Also, their receptionist, Jennifer, is a super kind, nurturing , and articulate person and this also goes a long way in making a new client feel relaxed and reassured with all questions and any initial fears answered.
