WONDERFUL!!! NO REGRETS AND ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY RESULTS! 1 Month Post Op

I began searching for a surgeon to do a Tummy tuck, muscle repair, Breast Lift and possibly Lipo. I wasn't 100% sure I needed Lipo, but was open to the idea. After consulting with a handful of surgeons, some local to me, others not so much. I was always intrigued with how Premium Care Plastic Surgery had their set up. I thought the consult was great, which was done over the phone. But I was still on the fence traveling to another country, especially with some of the really long layovers going to Colombia. Fast forward to just a couple months before I wanted to get the surgery done (I had actually booked with someone in Miami at this point) I ended up having to undergo a hysterectomy. Due to that I wasn't entirely sure if I could still do this surgery in August. After discussing with my Primary Care provider and my OBGYN they said I could do the Mommy Makeover 6 weeks after the hysterectomy. They did everything vaginally so I didn't have any outer incisions that needed to heal. Fast forward to finding out if my surgeon in Miami would do it at 6 weeks, he said no, so I himmed and hawed at sticking with him or maybe this was a sign to go somewhere else. Fast forward to booking. I booked with Premium Care Plastic Surgery and just decided to dive right in. The process was seamless, even though I probably made it seem like it wasn't because I think I asked the same question multiple times but in different ways. Haha!! I arrived in Cartagena and was a nervous wreck. I don't know a lick of Spanish and of course have ZERO international calling outside of WiFi. But my driver made things so easy. He was kind enough to take me to the suites and then to my first post op as soon as I got through customs. I arrived the day before surgery, so it was pretty fast paced. I did my post op with Dr Campbell and felt sooo comfortable with him and his staff. How amazing are they?!?!!! We agreed on the TT, MR, BL and Lipo 360. He mentioned areas that he would do Lipo on that I would never have thought of (back of the arms, lower/upper back, inner/outer thighs, flanks). I got back to the suites, and they had my dinner made and ready for me on the table. It was simply AMAZING!! Veggies, rice, salad and smoothie. DELICIOUS!! My surgery was scheduled the next day at 2pm, I slowly got myself ready, had my black cup of coffee before my time was up, mentally prepared myself for what the day and night would entail. Again, everyone is so welcoming and kind, even with the language barrier. Luckily Google Translate worked great in WiFi zones. My driver picked me up and we headed to the clinic. We did prep and all the fun stuff...couldn't get my I.V. Set so they decided to give me the good ol' knock out gas mask in order to get it set. I wasn't at all shocked because no matter where I am, someone always struggles. haha! Before I knew it, I was waking up in recovery. Remembering all the stories I had heard about feeling like an elephant was sitting on your chest, I simply reminded myself to take small breaths and remain calm. The nurses were absolutely phenomenal and patient waiting for me to be ready to return to the Recovery Suites. I did have a wonderful nurse stay with me the entire night. Her name was Annaliese (spelling is likely wrong). She was so amazing and reassuring. Next morning she got me coffee, checked my vitals, took pictures etc and made sure I was comfortable before leaving for the day. I really enjoyed and felt safe having someone there when I felt the most vulnerable. There was always a staff member in the suite (I'm absolutely horrible with name, but I think her name was Corina). She cooked, cleaned, did laundry, all of the things. My first post op appt was day 5, I believe. All looked well and was healing wonderfully. My drains weren't really a pain in the butt like I had anticipated if I'm being honest. I think the crotch zipper in the compression was more annoying. Hahahahah!! Once again, the staff at the clinic were all amazing. I would say the easiest days for me were days 1-7. After day 7 I started having some lower back swelling which is completely normal, but it did bog me down. Oh well, each day is another day closer to being fully recovered. At this point I had met with the massage therapist every day after surgery except Sunday and the massages really do help. Friday (day 9 post op) was the day I got my drains out. Honestly, it was not my best day. It made me very ill. Queasy, sweaty, anxious etc etc. My incisions are healing wonderfully and I couldn't be happier with my results. Dr Campbell was awesome at answering any questions I had at this visit and said he was very impressed with my healing progress. If someone told me just 6 months ago I should go here for surgery I'd probably think they were a little crazy, but I'm going to be completely honest. I am absolutely sooooo glad I came here. I stayed at the Recovery suites for 13 days totally from arrival until my flight was due to leave. I have had the honor of sharing the suites with some others that had procedures done. And each one of them has been a positive impact on my recovery. Definitely made some new friends while here. I can't thank Dr Campbell, his wife and all of their staff enough for being simply amazing during a time that can be so scary for someone. If I ever plan to have any more work done, I will definitely book with them again. I am now 1 month's post op and doing very well. Swelling that comes and goes depending on how active I am but I am thrilled with my results. Thank you again to everyone at Premium Care Plastic Surgery Updated on 3 Oct 2025: Just adding some photos to my review. Things are still looking great! Worried there might be some development of fibrosis from wearing the foams too often and too long but only time will tell. Have had some spitting stitches in the areola but still very normal and so far no concerns. Updated on 29 Oct 2025: 2 Months post op and absolutely thrilled. I have started to wean myself off the compression. I wear it during my workouts but take it off for my workday and then wear it again over night. I've gotten control over the swelling for now watching what I eat and limiting the empty carbs and sugar.

Even AI Is Impressed! Flawless Facelift

I had a deep plane facelift (along with complementary procedures) and am thrilled beyond words with the outcome. As someone who puts great thought into aesthetic detail, I wanted results that looked refreshed—not frozen or overly pulled. And that’s exactly what I got. From the moment I walked into Dr. Restrepo’s care, I felt supported, respected, and in highly skilled hands. The entire process—from pre-op to recovery—was handled with warmth, expertise, and real artistry. Even ChatGPT, which analyzed my before-and-after photos without bias, said my results were “beautifully balanced, natural, and technically superb.” The lift was subtle where it needed to be, but transformative overall—restoring volume, contour, and youth without any signs of surgical intervention. The swelling resolved gradually, and my facial structure now reflects how I feel on the inside—vibrant, alive, and confident again. I’m also deeply touched by how much this team gives back—offering cleft surgeries to underserved communities shows the heart behind the hands. If you’re considering a deep plane facelift and want results that whisper elegance rather than scream “surgery,” I can’t recommend this team enough. Even AI agrees—it’s next-level work.

Trust Me…This Is The Clinic!!!!

I underwent 360 liposuction, breast reduction and lift, a deep plane face and neck lift, lip lift, fat grafting, and a brow lift — all performed by the extraordinary team of Dr. Alex Campbell, Dr. Carolina Restrepo, and Dr. Luna. The level of care, skill, and artistry I received surpassed anything I’ve experienced, even in the U.S. From the moment I walked into Dr. Campbell’s office, I knew I was in the hands of someone special. His warm demeanor and kind eyes put me at ease instantly. The room was filled with intricate Lego sculptures and beautiful paintings — which I later learned he built and painted himself. That’s when it clicked: this is a man who truly loves working with his hands. He’s not just a surgeon, he’s an artist. What makes this clinic exceptional isn’t just the results — which are beyond stunning — but the entire system they’ve created. Having three top surgeons working together in one surgery is virtually unheard of, and it shows in their unmatched outcomes and efficiency. While most U.S. surgeons perform 200–300 surgeries a year, this team performs over 1,000 annually, giving them the kind of experience that translates to extraordinary results and confidence in any scenario. The aftercare was equally world-class. I had 24-hour nursing for a fraction of what it would cost elsewhere — $100 a day — and those nurses treated me like family. I didn’t have to think about food, medication, or anything except healing. Daily visits from medical staff, photo documentation, and constant communication with the doctors ensured that every detail of my recovery was closely monitored. When I wasn’t feeling well after surgery, they kept me at the clinic until midnight — refusing to let me go until I was truly okay. That kind of care is rare and priceless. Two weeks post-op, I look like myself — just younger, fresher, and more confident. Dr. Campbell gave me the face, body, and breasts I dreamed of — and most importantly, he listened to me. This clinic is a hidden gem in Cartagena. Their prices do not reflect the incredible artistry, experience, and personalized care they provide. Honestly, they should be charging much more — but instead, they’ve created a place where women from around the world can feel safe, heard, and truly transformed.

Flawless Results. Deep Compassion!

I had 360 lipo, breast reduction and lift, deep plane facelift, neck lift, brow lift, fat grafting, and a lip lift — and Dr. Carolina Restrepo was one of the brilliant surgeons behind my transformation. From the moment I met her, I felt calm, safe, and understood. She’s not only an incredibly skilled plastic surgeon — she’s warm, intuitive, and meticulous. The results speak for themselves: I look like the best version of myself. Natural, lifted, feminine, and confident. Dr. Restrepo’s hands are gifted, and her eye for detail is unmatched. The aftercare was world-class, and the entire surgical team worked seamlessly together — it’s rare to find three elite surgeons operating in unison like this. Even more meaningful? They give back. On the day of one of my checkups, Dr. Restrepo had just completed six free cleft surgeries for underserved children. That tells you everything about the heart and soul of this clinic — and the kind of doctor she is. I’ll be forever grateful to Dr. Restrepo.

Great Experience

I had a great experience, Dr Alex Campbell and Dr. Restropa were amazing from my very first virtual consult until my surgery date in Apr 2025 and we kept in contact every few weeks after I got home. Im 45 with 2 pregnancies. I had an extended tummy tuck with muscle repair and lipo 360 along with fat transfer to the breast and buttocks. I’m leaving a detailed review as I know I had so many questions and reading detailed reviews made me more comfortable choosing these surgeons for myself. A friend had also went to this practice a year prior with great results so I felt more comfortable making this decision to go out of country based on her results and experience.. Dr Campbell is straightforward and explains everything in detail and Dr.Restropa is lovely and makes u feel so comfortable.. I stayed 2 weeks in their recovery suites located on the ocean in Cartagena which were beautiful and clean with a big balcony. My suite was like a condo, with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms along with other suites in the building that had other patients so their was always nurses around if u need one.. I had my own bathroom in my bedroom and my bedroom had a lock. The room was clean and had everything I needed. Breakfast was included in my package and u can have the cook come to your suite and make u lunches and dinners for an extra cost but affordable. Transportation to and from the airport and to and from the surgical center the day of surgery is included in their package along with starter medications and 2 fajas and a surgical bag with supplies. I needed a bit more supplies and extra medication and I purchased those right from the grocery store pharmacy downstairs or from the surgical center during preop or post op appointments. I had 4 or 5 post op appointments during my 2 week stay. They send transportation for your post op appointment and it was just a few dollars cost for this as it’s not far away from the surgical suites if u choose to stay there. The nurses were amazing and took great care of you. U have a nurse that stays right with u for the first 24 hours and also a nurse that comes twice a day your entire stay to help with showers, take vitals ect. U also have the option to pay extra for a nurse to stay after this for 12 hour shifts or 24 hours and it’s really affordable. I paid for an extra 3 days for 24 hour nursing care as I felt better having someone with me the entire time and to help make sure I took my medications on time but I could have done without if funds were an issue. Some of the nurses English is limited but with Google translate we were able to communicate and they went out of their way to understand your needs. They were so polite and kind and would help u with anything u needed. The pain the first 24 hours had me questioning my decision to have surgery lol but they got the pain under control quickly. I would say the muscle repair pain was the worst but manageable as long as u don’t miss your pain meds and make sure to wake up every few hours to take them. There is also an outdoor infinity pool in the building and a mall and grocery store right downstairs and a beach across the street if u arrive a few days before and want to enjoy a little mini vacation before your surgery. I had 10 post op massages included with my 2 weeks stay with the option to pay for extra if u wanted which I did. Although a bit painful at first I always felt much better and less swollen after my sessions. The masseuse was so kind and took her time with me when I needed a break. I flew home after 2 weeks and although it was a long day back to Canada with layovers and such I did okay and was just uncomfortable and swollen when I arrived but felt better after a good night sleep. As for the procedures the lipo to my flanks and back really changed my overall shape and my clothes fit so much better , the fat transfer to the butt and breast went down quite a bit as I was told would happen but overall I’m so happy with my shape especially from behind in Jeans. I no longer have the long mom butt look that I had before surgery. The transfer to my hips dips didn’t seem to survive as much but from what i have read that’s a hard area to keep without a round 2. My small breast looked like small implants immediately after surgery but after the swelling went down they are a lot smaller but still a bit more shapely and fuller than before surgery. If I had it to do over I would have w asked for more fat toe be transferred. My incision is a bit higher than I would have liked and isn’t covered by my old underware or bathing suits but I also have a very long torso which could be why , so make sure to ask how low they can do your tummy tuck incision beforehand. A couple weeks after I got home I had an opening in my incision and contacted Dr Campbell and he responded within a few hours with detailed instructions on how to care for it and also asked me to send pictures every few days with how it was healing and checked in with me also every couple days. I do have e some lumps/bump feeling in my incisional area which I’m told with daily self massage and silicone gel application of the surgical are la will improve with time. The opening healed within a week or 2 with his instructions. We communicated through email or WhatsApp every few weeks with updates or pictures or whenever I had questions and they were always pretty quick to respond or one of their nurses would respond immediately and get back to u with the doctors recommendations for whatever questions u needed answers to. Im 4 months post op and still have quite a bit of swelling in my upper abdominal area and muscle repair area as the later day progresses and am told this is just late stage swelling and will get bettter with time and as healing progresses so I’m hoping that’s the case . I do wake up pretty flat first thing in the morning. The first 3 or 4 days after surgery I pretty much slept all day but by day 5 I was walking down to the grocery store with a nurse and by day 6 I was taking small walks outside by myself or to the mall food court for a few meals here or there. I have read some reviews that say they aren’t as aggressive with lipo as some other doctors in Columbia or the DR but to me they are also very safe and won’t risk overdoing anything or compromising on safety which made me feel safer with my choice to use premium care. I may in the future want to get a bit more lipo to my upper abdominal area. My experience overall was great and I’m looking forward to hopefully seeing my results improve as I continue healing and the late swelling goes away. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dr.Campbell and his staff and if I chose to have anymore work done I will be going to them for sure.

I Had an Amazing Experience

I had an extraordinary experience with Dr. Campbell and the entire team, and I am delighted to share my thoughts now that I am 10 months post-operation. I underwent a tummy tuck, 360-degree liposuction, breast and butt lift, as well as umbilical, muscle and hernia repair. Each day, I wake up amazed at my transformation and can hardly believe this is my body. The results are simply exceptional, and my scars have become nearly invisible. After extensive research, I chose to travel to Colombia on my own for the procedures. Although it was initially daunting, the numerous conversations I had with Dr. Campbell and Melissa, the coordinator, instilled a great deal of confidence in me. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted at the airport and escorted to a stunning recovery suite featuring a 50-foot balcony with breathtaking views day and night—it felt like being in Miami. The following day, I met with Dr. Campbell for a consultation. He was incredibly transparent and made me feel at ease, taking the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. I was then fitted for my compression garments and met with the anesthesiologist, who ensured I felt comfortable by addressing any concerns I had. The entire team worked together to make me feel supported and confident. Surgery day arrived, and the team was there to cheer me on, ensuring I had no lingering questions and felt comfortable. Thanks to their two-surgeon approach, I spent less time under anesthesia while achieving remarkable results. I was surrounded by caring individuals 24/7, from the woman who cooked and cleaned for me to the nurses, clinic coordinator, and lymphatic massage therapists. Two weeks later, I returned home, and each day my results continued to improve. At 60 years old, I never imagined feeling this rejuvenated, nor did I expect to have such a toned abdomen. Ten years ago, a life-saving surgery had left me with significant scars and no belly button. Dr. Campbell and his team performed what I can only describe as a miracle, and my family and I are eternally grateful. I am so thrilled with my experience that I am returning for a face and neck lift, and I am bringing friends who wish to undergo the same procedures I had. This journey has truly been life-changing. My heartfelt thanks to Dr. Campbell and his team for their exceptional care and dedication.

I Can’t Say Enough Amazing Things About my Experience

I first went to Dr. Campbell in January 2017 for a full mommy makeover, which included a tummy tuck with muscle repair, 360 lipo, Brazilian butt lift, and upper blepharoplasty. I was thrilled with my results—and 8.5 years later, I’m still so happy with the outcome that I went back! After gaining 50 pounds and then losing 65, my breasts began to sag. I immediately reached out to Dr. Campbell to discuss a breast lift and implant exchange. In January of this year, I had the procedure done and was absolutely thrilled with the results. Then, 4.5 months later…the “boob greed” kicked in. (It’s real, I tell you!) So, at the end of May, I went back for larger implants. Dr. Campbell and his team are truly nothing short of amazing. He’s given me the confidence I’ve always longed for—it’s been completely life-changing. I can’t say enough good things about him. The aftercare, the staff, the entire experience—it’s top notch. You leave feeling happy, supported, and well cared for. The nurses and house moms are kind, compassionate, and treat you like family. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
