Ptosis Surgery

worst experience: Ptosis correction- post surgery second opinions pls

Due to covid19 travel restrictions I decided to do my Ptosis correction in Singapore. I had my surgery on September 16 and today 10 days after surgery, my right eye seems over corrected. The asymmetrical right eye is gnawing at my heart everytime I look at the mirror. Appreciate advice from professional and recovered Ptosis patients so that I can have a better understanding of what come may down the road. Attached are photos within this 10 days after my surgery today, September 24 Updated on 9 Nov 2021: After much fuss then doctor agrees to see me earlier and confirms that my eye is over corrected. He says that he redo it for me But I realise that my double eyelid is now not balance, I am quite upset to be honest. I trusted that doctor but ended up it is like that Updated on 21 Dec 2021: I know I have to be patient but I know from the look of my post surgery is that I will never have a set of eyes balance ever again. I am very upset to be honest. I know that Ptosis is a very delicate surgery but I just didn’t expect after 2 surgery I look so weird now. I think Omicron will brings on another lockdown, I will only redo my eyes in Korea. My heart cannot take this. I am very disappointed Updated on 22 Dec 2021: I am very affected by my eyes, I didn’t expect it to end up look like tt. I went under the knife twice and it just get worst everytime. Pls give advice how to improve the extreme unbalanced eyes Updated on 20 Jan 2022: It’s not balance, I know it’s a waiting game but I can already tell it’s not balance. The crescent shape of the eyes is off Updated on 3 Mar 2022: After 6 months and 3 Ptosis corrections, my eyes finally look balance now. Just did my surgery on March 1st, still too early to confirm anything but the eyes definitely look better than the previous 2 surgery. I’m grateful that this is finally resolved And that the doctor has been patient and corrected it. Ptosis correction really no joke. Updated on 22 Mar 2022: After 3 surgery by the doctor, I can only say that I regretted doing this in Singapore. My eyes just doesn’t look the same anymore, it will always be imbalance just because … I will redo it in Korea. I cannot face with it that I now look sub-standards and I already gave 3 chance to fix it. Updated on 11 Mar 2023: Results not good, unhappy. Contacted clinic and they offered free consultation but NO ONE ATTENDED TO ME FOR ALMOST AN HOUR? is it because it’s free? I left, obviously Until now, no one from clinic bother to apologize and or follow up. I’m utterly disappointed with my choice of clinic. Updated on 7 Dec 2023: I just want to say that it is my worst choice to trust a doctor who makes mistakes 3 times in a row and till advertised as a specialist I really think that my eyes are pretty without him doing anything.
