I needed to have my 29 year old implants removed and consulted with Dr. Caplin. Feeling he was the right match for me, I scheduled my appointment with Erica. She guided me through some challenges with my primary care physician, encouraged and supported me, and then made a few phone calls on my behalf which was above and beyond! Dr. Caplin and Renee and the rest of the staff could not have been more skilled, professional, and caring all rolled into one. Best care ever! I would highly recommend their services to others!
I have been seeing Ashley for the past 3 years and she has never steered me wrong. She has helped me achieve the cosmetic look that I want without looking overdone. She always makes everything look perfect, even with my difficult anatomy. This review was created as part of a nomination to the RealSelf I Love My Injector Campaign.
For many years I had wanted a breast reduction, basically because dresses and blouses were very difficult to fit in properly. I never persued it because I had always heard it was difficult to get it covered by insurance. So over time the grooves in my shoulders became more and more painful, also they were showing through my clothing, it was embarrassing, to say the least. Then I started having numbness in my right arm that was irradiating down to my elbow and forearm. I sought out a chiropractor and he felt that breast reduction surgery would benefit me greatly. I contacted Parkcrest Plastic Surgery and scheduled an appointment with Dr. David Caplin. Everyone that I have encountered throughout this entire process has been helpful, kind, understanding and patient. I can not say enough to explain how wonderful of an experience this been. At my consultation Dr. Caplin explained the entire surgery, possible complications and confirmed that I was a good candidate for this procedure. I then spoke with his patient coordinator and she sent a pre-determination into my insurance company with all the necessary paperwork, proving it was medically necessary for me to have a breast reduction. A little over two weeks went by and they called me and said the surgery had been approved by my insurance company. I scheduled my surgery for 6 days later, not for one second did I doubt my decision or second guess Dr. Caplin and his genius. Post operatively things went very smooth, I stayed over night the day of the surgery, the nurses were wonderful. I went home with an anti-biotic and pain medicine, I had discomfort but not a lot of "pain". Reaching up and out took a few weeks to return to normal. I had tingling pain sensation for awhile when my nerves were reconnecting. Anyone who is contemplating having a breast reduction should seriously pursue it. This experience has been life changing for me. Not for one minute have I wished for my oversized breast back. Now I have 2 close to proportioned breast, that I call cupcakes!
I am a 58 year old recently divorced woman. For years I have been flirting with the idea of having my eyes "done", an upper blepharoplasty, and stomach liposuction. In October I scheduled a consultation with Dr. David Caplin of Parkcrest Plastic Surgery in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Caplin has an unparalleled reputation in our region. Upon meeting him he was warm, personable, easy to talk to, and inspires confidence. More importantly, I felt like he had the surgeon’s skill and the artist’s eye to achieve the fresher, subtle result I desired. Parkcrest Plastic Surgery has a discreet office. His staff is very accommodating and knowledgeable. I scheduled my surgery for February 2016. I was going to have a combination of procedures: an upper blepharoplasty with temporal brow lift, fat grafting in strategic spots on my face, Smartlipo to remove my double chin and a large volume liposuction on my stomach, flanks, and upper back. I did not have any anxiety related to the choice of my doctor. I felt like I was in safe hands and comfortable in my decision. Because of the large amount of fat/volume to be removed, Dr. Caplin suggested I spend the first night in an aftercare facility. I received fabulous care; it was quiet, restful, and clean. The nurses were professional and reassuring. Dr. Caplin was very realistic in his description of the stages of healing. I had very little bruising and was taking SinEcch to aid with bruising and swelling after surgery. I had virtually no pain associated with my facial procedures, however the core lipo was pretty painful for the first 48 hrs. Day 7 I had extreme itching on my upper eyelids. I thought I might be allergic to the surgical glue. After calling the office, Dr. Caplin saw me that afternoon. They could not have been more accommodating. Parkcrest Plastics has a lymph drainage massage therapist associated with their office (Brandon Schuessel). I think it is a way to heal faster and more comfortably. I had about 5 sessions and an unexpected bonus is that my complexion has benefited from the massage! 8 weeks out from my surgery I am delighted with the results. My experience has been a 10/10. I feel younger, with more pep to my step! I would say it has been fun to see the younger chick again!
I have been thinking about breast augmentation fit at least 6 years, after the birth of my third child. I finally went to see Dr. Caplin at Parkcrest Plastic Surgery in St. Louis, MO, for a consult. This wonderful doctor spoke with me at length regarding the breast augmentation procedure. Dr. Caplin made sure I thoroughly understood every aspect of the breast augmentation procedure. Dr. Caplin took his time with me and was very kind. He was very professional. I received another consult elsewhere; the experience was nothing like that with Dr. Caplin. I am so thrilled with my results and would recommend you see ONLY Dr. Caplin for breast augmentation. It was such a wonderful experience!!
