Prior to Kristen, I have had Botox by two other RN's. I felt both were very adequate and had no complaints. Because of scheduling, my last two injections have been by Kristen. I was AMAZED that the provider could make so much difference. Not only were the injections less uncomfortable but the process was quicker, less medication was used, less time AND money spent in the office. The outcome was perfect and, although she gave me a 2 week follow up time to treat any areas that still needed addressing, both times I cancelled because outcome couldn't have been better. I had THE BEST experience with Dr. Hodge and his staff at Monarch Plastic Surgery. After having 2 children I was looking to replace volume lost but look natural at the same time. Dr. Hodge and his nurse not only made me feel comfortable, but they helped me determine which size was was best for my frame. I never felt pressured to go bigger and they made me feel comfortable when I came back twice to double check the size I chose before surgery. I could not be happier with my choice to have the surgery and my overall experience Dr. Hodge and Monarch Plastic Surgery.

I have wanted breast implants since I learned they were an option, about 13 years! I got my implant today at the Shawnee Mission Surgery Center in OP and had a wonderful experience! I was referred to Dr. Keith Hodge with Monarch Plastic Surgery from a friend who had breast augmentation a few years back. I loved his professional knowledge, dry sense of humor, and personable touch from the beginning! I highly recommend him!

I have always had large breasts, as I got older and breastfed my children I lost some volume and my breasts began to sag. As this is natural and part of the aging process (and gravity) since I have large breasts there was a significant amount of ptosis so it was hard to find bras and swim suits that fit. I was also not happy with the way they looked. I got a mastopexy (breast lift) by Dr. Keith Hodge at Monarch Plastic Surgery. I am very pleased with the results. Dr Hodge counseled me with my many options and helped me to make a decision on the best results for my case. The procedure went well, the pain was manageable with the meds they gave me and I was back to work a week after my surgery. I am two months post surgery and I have no regrets. My breasts are lifted, firm and have great volume. They look like they did when I was 25! I would highly recommend Dr. Hodge and this procedure.

I had a level 1 Halo laser about 8 weeks ago. I had acne pretty bad when I was younger and my skin texture and pore size has always bothered me. I did the lowest level treatment because I was honestly really scared I was going to mess up my face plus I'm very sensitive with fair skin. Jessica was 100% honest with me and made me feel very comfortable during my consultation. She said that I would look crazy for a week and that's true. If anyone tells you there's no downtime they're lying. It's at least a week and probably longer if you have a more aggressive treatment. They say you're allowed to wear makeup the next day but there no way you would want to. It will stick to all the dryness and look ridiculous. I was numbed for an hour before the procedure. It is not comfortable. I had a mini-profractional today and that is at least 3 times worse than the Halo. So it's bearable. Your face feels very hot for several hours after. There is swelling. I was swollen for two days. It looks like you've gotten a really really bad sunburn and it feels like it too. Sleep elevated and have ice packs ready. The cicalfate is your best friend. Use it. I didn't want to at first because I was afraid I'd break out which I did a little but it was worth it. The cicalfate helps keep your skin protected and helps the peeling. You will peel. For days. After the first week you have what they call the "Halo Glow". You look sunburned still. It's not that glamour a but at this point you can wear makeup without looking like a crusty mess. I was disappointed in my results at first but at week 3 is when I really noticed a difference. My skin is at least 50% better. It's pretty amazing. I highly recommend having it done. I had it done on a Thursday after work and then had a long weekend. Most of the peeling was done when I went back to work but it wasn't until the next Friday it was complete. This treatment is definitely worth it but you will have downtime. I see a lot of reviews where people have been told there's no downtime and they get upset. I would too but I was told I would look a mess and I knew far in advance. I know it's expensive but I would do a light treatment at first if you're nervous. I'd rather do two light treatments than one super aggressive one. The more aggressive the more downtime.

I got lucky when my PPO recommended Monarch Plastic Surgery to me. I called for a consultation and got Dr. Keith Hodge. From the consultation to the post-op visit he was friendly, informative, and took the time needed to answer all my questions. His nurse Kimber is a rock star. She completes the experience and together they make the whole experience so positive. I am happy with both procedures Dr. Hodge has done for me. He called me himself after each one to check on me at home and make sure I was OK and answer any questions I had. He is a true artist and I benefited from his craft. I highly recommend Dr. Hodge AND Kimber!

I had always joked about getting implants, you know "wouldn't it be nice if..." but never really considered it an option. After two kids and gravity had taken their toll I had gotten used to putting my boobs back in my bra anytime after bending over. That is, unless I wanted to wear a sports bra that left me without any shape at all. Who wants that? I guess I was used to having a nice figure, before, and now my self esteem was taking a hit because I was a mom who put my kids first and there was nothing left for me. A crazy set of circumstances later and I have a little money and a husband who encouraged me to do whatever I needed to be happy. Like everything I do, I took a deep breath, did a lot of research, made my decision and did it. From the first thought of "I think I might want implants" to surgery date was about 45 days. So the journey begins. I decided to on two consultations. For both doctors the consultations went very well. I felt comfortable with both and each answered all of my questions. The decision didn't come down to price. The quotes from both doctors were less than $1,000 apart. How did I decide? My second consultation was with Dr. Hodge with Monarch Plastic Surgery. His staff was wonderful. Kimber helped me feel at ease and was very great throughout the entire process. I chose Dr. Hodge because I would do the lift I needed and the implant size I wanted. The first doctor, for some reason, would only do the lift with a smaller implant. Sorry, but if I am spending this kind of cash I am getting what I want the first time. Dr. Hodge reassured me that I could have the lift and the implant size of my choosing. He explained that it is a more complicated procedure, but that he was comfortable with it and had done many of them. After discussing the consultations/doctors with my husband (who had been present at both consultations), I called and scheduled my surgery date, June 12, 2015. Brief synopsis: The surgery went as scheduled. It was a 3+ hour surgery. I came home and actually sat outside for awhile. I slept in a mostly upright position as I had read that it was difficult to get out of bed in the morning. They were right. For anything requiring my upper body I was useless for about a week. Little by little I was about to start getting back to normal. I was on pain killers Friday (after surgery), Saturday, and Sunday. I went back to work on Monday for a half day. I took only over the counter pain medication for the next month. Best advice, stay on top of the pain. For a couple of days I tried to take medication only at night, but found I was achy and not able to do as much. Currently - I am just shy of three months out. I feel really good, not 100% all of the time. As a nice little side effect I had really sensitive nipples, felt like I was breastfeeding again. I just reminded myself that it was good to have sensitivity (better than the alternative). The sensitivity has improved a lot but not quite back to normal. The implants have dropped and look great. I went from a 36 A/B to 36D. I have Natrelle Style 15 (midrange Profile) 421cc. I had considered the 397 cc, but had read on this site that everyones one wish was that they had gone bigger. Also, Dr. Hodge's nurse, Kimber, was great in this process giving me her honest opinion and professional insight. She was a great help. I will post a before and after picture soon.
