Sent me to a unmarked building for surgery - won’t respond to bleeding Hello, I was booking with MIAMI AESTHETIC CENTER but ended up getting sent to Jolie & a unmarked building in north Miami for surgery with my doctor Miller. ( No signs on the building it’s in the back of an industrial park with only a lawyers office sign INSIDE the waiting room )
I have tried to get in contact about Constant vomiting after surgery and was told I would receive a call back and never did. At my Post op they told me they couldn’t give me any more anti nausea pills or a liquid / dissolve-able prescription of zofran after I puked all 6 zofran they gave me up after surgery for 2 days.
Then two weeks after I’m bleeding or discharging a brown fluid and I can’t get a call back from my doctor or even a nurse after I was told I would. Once I said I would contact a lawyer they called me I missed one call but called back & they asking how my post op was FINALLY but had no answers and told me a nurse would call about bleeding. Three days later I still have yet to hear anything. Again never once did I step foot in the MIAMI AESTHETIC CENTER OFFICE.
The Run Around I booked my surgery on a special with Miami Aesthetic Center. Initially, I was booking with this company because of Dr. Willis when she left MIA Aesthetics. However, the booking specialist told me Dr. Miller was having a special, so I booked my surgery with him. I paid my deposit and specialist told me she would fix it on my portal. For 2 weeks, my portal had Dr. Willis and Dr. Willis as my surgeon with the wrong price. I called and asked to speak to a manager and I text the specialist on the number she provided, and she informed me that she would fix it; which she did. On 2/15/22, I received my medical questionnaire and was asked to complete it. I completed it on that day. I sent it back via email. On 2/24/22, I received an email saying I was dropped off the surgery calendar because I did not complete the questionnaire. I called Miami Aesthetic Center and informed them that I had completed the questionnaire. Instead of them trying to find the email they read through my notes to inform me when the questionnaire was sent. The receptionist informed me that it needed to be completed on the portal however, that is not what the email stated. If that is true it should’ve been listed on the email. I read the email and completed it as it requested. There were no other directions on this email that indicated it needed to be submitted through my portal. The email stated “ INSTRUCTIONS: To begin, simply reply to this email and complete your answers on the same line or below the question…. Information will be uploaded to your patient chart.” I asked to speak to a manager but there was “no manager available.” I emailed my coordinator the questionnaire which has the timestamp indicating that I submitted it the day it was sent. She responded “thank you.” In another email she responded if I complete the questionnaire she would put me back on the schedule. I called this morning asking to speak to a manager and of course, “there was no manager available.” I have called and asked to speak to a manager at least 3 times at no avail I have not spoken to one. If the manager would’ve stepped in weeks ago, we wouldn’t even be here. At this point, I am exhausted from the run around and do not trust them to complete my surgery safely. I am requesting a refund with my deposit because it was their fault that I was dropped from the surgery. I don’t appreciate the run around and would not recommend this surgery center.
