The lines around the mouth are very hard to treat and they are one of the most requested areas of treatment. "Smoker lines" can sometimes be treated with filler. There are specific fillers that can be used in this area, such as Volbella, that are smooth enough to soften the lines without creating too much of a protrusion of the lip area. Botox is not routinely used in the treatment of perioral wrinkles, but can be used in small doses as a preventative measure from deepening the lines. I would suggest consulting with an aesthetician and reviewing if chemical peels/laser treatments are available. Also, if you are a surgical candidate, a facelift procedure may yield the results you are looking for.
Lines/wrinkles of the cheek are typically treated with filler.
Good luck!
