32AA to 32C! Amazing staff and results! They were all very patient with my questions and very kind and respectful! My surgery went very well and I feel more confident than ever!
I went in for an initial consultation which was completely free, which was nice. The second consultation I was asked if I was sure about the size, had any questions, etc. and they got started on my pre-op routine and to-dos. There is a $500 deposit once you set a date for surgery but it gets deducted once you pay the overall amount.
They have an awesome piece of equipment that literally shows you a pic of yourself with various size implants, which is nice!
I really gained a lot of respect when Dr. Khoobehi told me that I shouldn't go up an implant size. I initially set an implant size and as I showed my friends the pictures, they said they looked too small. He made me feel more confident to go with the original plan to avoid stretch marks in the future. I'm so happy I did because they look very natural, yet I feel 1000x more confident!
Surgery recovery was pretty painful for about 48 hrs, but then it was manageable.
Breast Cancer Reconstruction After beating breast cancer in 2000 and being cancer free for 17 years, it was quite a shock to find out that after a routine mammogram in December 2016, that I was facing a breast cancer diagnosis again.
Here begins the search for a surgeon and plastic surgeon. I initially went to a surgeon in Gulfport, MS who recommended a plastic surgeon for reconstruction. Because of the type of reconstruction I had in 2000, my options were limited on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
A good friend of mine in New Orleans encouraged me to seek a second opinion with a plastic surgeon that she highly recommended after a great experience she had with her breast cancer reconstruction.
She personally called Dr. Jules Walters and he scheduled an appointment with me in less than a week!
I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience I had from the moment I walked into the office of Khoobehi & Associates. This type of surgery is NOT elective and is very emotional. Dr. Walters was able to present several options that would work for me in my situation. He explained everything from start to finish. Dr. Walters and his staff have an amazing way of making you feel comfortable and at ease. At that initial appointment, I knew I found the best reconstruction option and the best doctor for me.
I had surgery on February 6, 2017. After an eight hour surgery and partial reconstruction, Dr. Walters visited me that night in the hospital. Of course I have had several follow-ups in his office however, he has made it a point to keep in touch with me during my chemo treatments and takes the time to answer every question I have.
Dr. Walters is a very talented surgeon and one of the most caring doctors I have ever met. He has an extremely calming manner about him which in turn, made me feel safe and secure in my decision.
Thanks to his amazing staff... from the ladies at the front desk, to Karen Maczewski and Ashley Barnes,
Dr. Walters Cosmetic Coordinators. Thank you all for such a wonderful experience.
I am almost finished my chemo treatments and looking forward to phase II reconstruction in the Fall.
Dr. Walters has been a blessing to me and my family. I would highly recommend him as a surgeon. Do not hesitate to make an appointment for a consultation.
