Impressive and Meticulous Artist

I’ve had an extended facelift with Dr Cho a week ago and I am really happy. My scars already look good and I’ve even had a work zoom conference today. I look very decent for such an early stage. I’ve researched a lot and saw a lot of pictures and I’m impressed by Dr Cho’s work quality and ethics! Dr Cho is a real artist.

Accutite with Profound RF - will wait and see how I look at 3 months

I had Accutite combined with Profound RF on 6/14/23. I was put under because I did not want to feel any pain during the procedure. I am still swollen under my chin and neck on the right side. It also feels very tight. It is still uncomfortable to eat. Every time I chew it feels like my skin is getting pulled under my chin down to my neck. Also when I wash my face it is still sensitive to...

Q: What does an internal bra do?
Answered by Dr. ChoApril 8, 2020

A: Thank you for your question.  The benefit of the internal bra is that it provides additional support to hold the breast (with or without an implant) in a more lifted position.  The extra support helps to prolong the lifted position of the breast and resist the effects of gravity.  Over time, the breast loses its ability to maintain its perkiness.  Whether it is due to pregnancy/breast feeding, changes in weight, or the aging process one can find that the breast tissue has lost some of its elasticity.  When this happens, a breast lift can restore the shape of the breast to a more perky position.  However, even though the breast appears perky, the underlying tissue still has lost it's elasticity and the duration of the breast lift may be compromised.  The internal bra can help prolong the results of the newly lifted/augmented breast.

I would recommend that you visit with a board certified plastic surgeon in your area to help discuss whether the internal bra would be suitable to add to your breast procedure.

Q: How dangerous is a liquid nose job after a rhinoplasty? (Photo)
Answered by Dr. ChoMarch 17, 2019

A: Thank you for your question and for sharing your photo and story. Liquid rhinoplasty would be a great option for you, however if there are more risks for someone who has had trauma or previous rhinoplasty surgery. Based on your photos, it doesn't take a lot of product to be able to help you achieve your goals. I would definitely go to an experienced plastic surgeon who has done liquid nose jobs and is very familiar with the nasal anatomy and what can happen after surgery.

Q: Can Botox be used on the nose to minimize bossae (nasal bump tip)?
Answered by Dr. ChoMarch 17, 2019

A: Thank you for your question. Botox is a great way to relax the muscle. It can be used for the frown lines between the brows, the four head lines which are created when you raise your brows, or the crows feet on the side of the eyes when you smile. There are additional areas if you can treat with Botox, however, it is not the ideal procedure to help with the bump on the dorsum of the nose. If you're looking for a non-surgical option, then using dermal filler's can be a great option for you. This is a very rewarding procedure when done with experienced hands. I would recommend that you visit with a plastic surgeon who has experience with non-surgical nose jobs to really give you a thoughtful consultation on what your options are including surgery.

Q: Is it possible to reduce the size of a bulbous nasal tip without surgery? (Photo)
Answered by Dr. ChoMarch 17, 2019

A: Thank you for your question and for sharing your photo. It is hard to tell from the one view of your photo alone whether a nonsurgical rhinoplasty is an option for you. Often by softening the contours around an area that seems overly represented, can deemphasize and soften the appearance of that area. For example, if your tip is very bulbous in appearance, by focusing the nonsurgical efforts around the tip may help to soften and deemphasize the appearance of the tip.  This is one of the more challenging and high-risk injectable procedures. I would visit with a board-certified plastic surgeon who is experienced with non-surgical nose jobs to give you a thoughtful discussion on your options.

Q: Shiny redness 4 weeks post liquid rhinoplasty. Should I dissolve it? (Photo)
Answered by Dr. ChoMarch 17, 2019

A: Thank you for your question. A liquid rhinoplasty can be a very rewarding procedure. Unfortunately there are some potential complications such as the redness that you are experiencing. Depending on the amount of product that was used, where it was injected, the amount of swelling associated with the product, there may be a component of venous occlusion or compromise. This can be determined with physical exam. Often this will dissipate and go away on its own, however, dissolving it or doing other measures to promote perfusion may be an option. I would definitely visit with your injector. If they are unable to help you, then I would visit with a board-certified plastic surgeon who has experience with liquid rhinoplasty, as they would be the best equipped to help you address your concerns.
