I came to Dr. B for a very conservative lip lift. I'm a big advocate for plastic surgery, even for small changes. My philosophy for surgery is to invest the money towards a permanent solution and a relatively little chunk of time for recovery, because it saves me more money and more days spent in the long run for non-surgical treatments, years of maintenance, and too many missed photo opportunities (kidding, but not kidding!!). Surgery gives me the real change I'm looking for. After my lip lift with Dr. B, I now love waking up and seeing the new enhanced me in the mirror, rather than reverting to makeup and feeling bummed about my "flaws". My upper lip used to cover a lot of my upper teeth and caused an awkward smile. I am in love with my lip lift - the subtle change in my upper lip shows my upper teeth more when I smile and makes me look years younger. No need for lip filler anymore either since it balances out the fullness of my lower lip - more money saved! Because of a more conservative lip lift approach, people are noticing an overall improvement in my look but can't tell I had anything done, because I still look like myself! Recovery went by pretty quickly, was able to wear makeup over the scar after one week, and the scar is nearly gone already after 3 weeks. I encourage anyone with an elongated upper lip to get this done, because this subtle change does wonders to the face (and smile!). Thank you, Dr. B, for giving me the natural-looking change I wanted. I love my lips . Super painless they used dental pain blocker method were my entire mph was numb & I didn't feel a thing Amen to that I'm such a baby with pain. Molly sure nailed my lips goals she is super sweet. I bruise so easily like just my genetics totally expected little bruising.

This review is long overdue! I had been looking to remove a couple of “mistakes” that 17 yr. old me made. I knew that the surest way was laser treatment. I researched places from San Jose to San Francisco and stumbled upon Illuminate Plastic Surgery on Yelp. They were close by, and I loved the whole aspect of a husband and wife team. They also offered a free consult, so what did I have to lose? I made an appointment and showed up to their office which is clean, modern, and easy to find. (Can’t wait to see their new location!) I had no idea what to expect when I met Molly but her cheerful personality instantly put me at ease. She thoroughly explained the use of the PicoSure laser, side effects, number and cost of treatments, and answered every single one of my questions. She made sure to set my expectations that this wasn’t going to be a one and done treatment, and it would take time. I purchased a series of 6 treatments done 6-8 weeks apart and I am now on #5 and the progress is amazing, I wish I had taken more pictures! Recently, I also had lip fillers (Juvederm) with Molly and the experience was just as awesome. She’s so informative and ensures the procedures are as painless as possible with minimal side effects. I’ve met with Dr. B as well for a little surgical consult and he is just as awesome as Molly. What a power couple! I love coming to Illuminate because it’s almost like going to hang out with my friend, who just happens to be an NP with an MD hubby that work together to help revamp you into most confident and best form of yourself. I have found my home at Illuminate Plastic Surgery! I'm 5 weeks post-op from my mommy makeover. My recovery from this procedure has been great and I'm healing ahead of schedule. I was standing almost straight on day 1 post-op which is nothing short of amazing thanks to Experel and Dr. B's work in the OR. Not only is Dr. B a talented surgeon with gifted hands, he is truly a nice guy with a warm and kind bedside manner that was comforting through the entire process. His wife Molly, a nurse practitioner, is a gift to his office. She is just as warm, friendly and talented. Together they provide stellar patient care that goes beyond all expectations. Also, An unbelievable BONUS is all of their surgical patients receive complimentary laser treatments on their surgical incisions and stretchmarks! I will always be grateful to Dr. B and his wonderful staff. I couldn't be happier about the results. Updated on 27 Jan 2017: As you can see my stomach was a train wreck! Lost 55 lbs in less than a year. This was not the first time I gained and lost over 40 lbs. My weight always fluctuated up and down over the past 25 years. Also, 3 pregnancies (2 were over 10lbs!) created a huge belly button and stretched skin in that area. I'm happy to say I am maintaining my goal weight for over 1 year! I'm terrified to gain any weight since I invested all this money in my mommy makeover.

I got my sculpsure and laser hair removal yesterday, it could not have gone any better the sculpsure is a laser that destroys fat cells, very exciting new technology it's a bridge between diet and exercise. The treatment takes approximately 25 minutes the burning sensation is kind of stinging but the system cooled the pads, really worth it because no matter how much excersise I do every day as well as eating healthy I couldn't stop or reduce the extra fat build up around my belly, with the sculpsure you can reduce any unwanted fat from any where you want. I'm so glad I found illuminate plastic surgery, they really cares about their patients I always felt safe, frequently checked up on me I'm so fortunate to be taken care of by them. I feel very fortunate for finding Illuminate Plastic Surgery. Dr. David Boudreault and his wife Molly Boudreault are just fantastic! They are very caring, personal, and sensitive. They both keep surprising me with their caring attention always going above and beyond to make sure I am taken care of and happy. They both surpass by far any experience I have had with Doctors in the past. The staff in the practice is always kind and welcoming. When I checked out their website, I sent Dr Boudreault office an email and within that same day he called me regarding my inquiry. I was impressed with his personal and yet professional approach. I was very nervous about having any cosmetic surgery because I was just recovering from a serious illness that left me, scared, underweight, and a bit weak. However, right from the start Dr Boudreault made me feel I was in the best hands that I could possibly be. He took the time to explain to me each step of the process and answered every question I had. Doctor Boudreault did a tummy tuck, scar removal and breast augmentation for me. The results were amazing and life changing. I could not be happier. His knowledge and expertise made the procedure painless and quick so I was able to get back to normal in about 4 days. The post-op care was also extremely positive. The follow up calls were consistent and I truly felt that he was really watching out for me. I have gone back to do other small procedures and each time my experience has been consistently amazing and positive. I am just very happy and glad that I found Illuminate Plastic Surgery as everyone there contributed to my overall positive experience.

I had a consultation with Molly for my hyperpigmentation. She determined I don't have melasma, just hyperpigmentation, so I'd be a good candidate for Picosure. I purchased the package which was a few thousand dollars. I was unhappy how this was handled. Molly told me I didn't have melasma to sell me on the treatment and after 2 treatments, they wanted me to keep going and I had to advocate for myself that something wasn't right and when they finally agreed, they did nothing to fix it. I texted Molly after thinking it through and how wrong this was and pushed for a refund. She suggested I get credit but I kept pushing. It's just not right that I left looking worse and they kept pushing for me to continue my sessions and that they would get to keep my money. Eventually she relented to only charge me for one session and refund me the rest. These people don't need the money; if you made a clients face worse because of your poor recommendation of saying I don't have melasma and pushing to continue, it should be a full refund but I'm glad I got something back. What's worse, I spent the last several months fixing my face. Luckily I found the top 3 melasma doctor in the US and he was willing to take me on as a new client but I had to wait a couple of months to see him. His treatment has reversed all the damage but this experience affected my trust in Medspa/plastic surgery "professionals", it flared up my face, I spent additional money and months religiously putting on my cream and taking medication everyday to fix this wrong. I did sign a contract which does warn you that the treatment might not work but I truly believe that from the consultation, molly was quick to say I don't have melasma so that she can sell me on a treatment that shouldn't have been recommended to me in the first place. This is people's faces you are dealing with - you are supposed to be expert advisors, not pushing for a quick sell to your desperate clients to make things worse for them. I really wanted to like this place but definitely lost my trust.
