Ive been thinking about having eyelid surgery for awhile. I had seen before and after photos on Frontier Dermatology's website and wanted to meet with Dr. Reichel for a consult. Im so glad I did. She answered all of my questions and took the time to make sure I understood the procedure and post op care. Her nurse Marcela and her MA Izzy, we wonderful additions to my care. The procedure was easy, I experienced ZERO pain, and the post op was smoothe. At my 1 week post op, I had my sutures removed, which was also relatively painless. I cannot sing her praises enough. Dr. Reichel is fabulous!

Dr. Reichel made me feel so comfortable doing this procedure. The results were better than expected and I would highly recommend her. Her entire staff was very comforting and generous with their time and attention.

I would highly recommend Dr. Reichel for liposuction! I had BodyTite liposuction to my abdomen, mons pubis, and back, and I couldn’t be happier with my results. Recovery was smooth—I experienced some mild discomfort for just a few days, but with consistent use of my compression garment, everything healed beautifully. Her team of nurses was wonderful—very informative, attentive, and with excellent bedside manner. Since I wasn’t completely put under, I appreciated that they made me feel comfortable with light sedation and a “cocktail” that kept me relaxed throughout the procedure. From start to finish, the care I received was outstanding, and I’m so glad I chose Dr. Reichel and her team for my procedure.

From initial consultation to post procedure visit, Dr Reichel and her team were amazing. The outcome of my procedures are beyond expectations and I could not be more delighted. After years of getting filler under my eyes it started not working as well to cover my dark circles. Dr Reichel recommended blepharoplasty for this area as well as upper blepharoplasty. I was so impressed with how well I was treated and cared for by herself and her Nurse Marchella before and after surgery and I am very pleased with my results.

TLDR: I am very happy with results, it was totally worth it. Dr. Reichel and her entire office is amazing. I am uploading day by day photos, so that you can see the recovery trajectory for yourself. I should say that my first experience with Dr. Reichel was 4 years ago, as an exceptional Mohs surgeon. She removed a very challenging (due to location and size) BCC on my then 80 year old Dad, with excellent outcome. I have been seeing her since, for routine maintenance like Botox and Fraxel. I have had a permanent fold under my left eye pretty much as long as I can remember, and I thought that maybe it's something that could be smoothed out with either ultherapy or an extra laser treatment. But after taking a closer look this summer, Dr. Reichel said that this is an eye bag and it would take blepharoplasty to smooth it out. I knew that I was in excellent hands with Dr. Reichel as a surgeon, but it still took me 6 months to make up my mind, b/c I am more of a conservative "maintenance" kind of person, and it took me time to research and work up courage to go ahead with the procedure. I ended up doing lower bleph with simultaneous 30 percent TCA peel. There are a number of published peer reviewed papers on this combination of procedures going back literally 30 years, which to me was very reassuring, because it helped me understand that this was a well established procedure with predictable outcomes in the hands of someone as highly qualified as Dr. Reichel. The recovery took 6 days. I did take a week and a half of work, but as of day 6 I could go back to VC and no one would know any better. The procedure itself was completely painless. The recovery was definitely rougher than Fraxel, especially the first 2 days. The most important thing imo is to take all the physical restrictions very seriously. On the 5th day I lifted a couple of heavy boxes and bent a little too low, and that night I ended up having blood tinged tears. I called the office and Marcella reassured me that this was not unusual, and just stick to the post op regimen for a few more days. TLDR: I am very happy with the results, it was totally worth it. Like many people, I was hesitant at the thought of any cosmetic procedures, particularly filler, with concerns that results might be unnatural, or that I might end up with a "puffy" or over-filled look. Dr. Lamel reassured me that natural enhancements are entirely possible, and she absolutely proved it! I still look like myself, but younger, more relaxed and rejuvenated. Dr. Lamel has a great understanding of facial structure, and she worked very well to enhance my unique features. I wanted specifically to address under eye bags and deepening tear troughs, and she explained to me how adding volume to targeted areas of the face can give youthful results and reduce the amount of filler that needs to be added in the delicate under eye area. I have noticed that the crepey skin under my eyes has all but disappeared, and my makeup sits better than it has in years. Most of all, I appreciate the precise and personalized work that Dr. Lamel has done. Thank you so much!
