7 1/2 weeks post op now and I'm so pleased with the results

I had an Arm Lift, Thigh Lift and Moderate Tummy Tuck. I was concerned about having these procedures because of my age - I'm 70. Before the surgery I was excited but nervous. Post op I felt like a mummy because of all of the wraps and I looked like Frankenstein's monster! I'm 7 1/2 weeks post op now and I'm so pleased with the results! I have a lot of large incisions but they are all...

My Journey, Which I Will Continue to Update

First off, Dr. Janssen, is very personable, professional and has a great bedside manner. I chose him due to his reviews and I liked the looks of him. It has been 3 solid days since the fat transfer. Fat taken from my belly to my boobies. I am very happy with my flat stomach. 720 cc's taken, 360 approx for each breast. My breast currently do not look as symmetrical as I would like, the left,...

Definitely worth the money!!

From the consultation to my 2 month appointment, I am very happy with my coolsculpting treatment at FVPS. Shannon was knowledgeable and upfront about what to expect. Worth the $. I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Great staff and great process

Had the cool sculpting done with the aggressive 5 treatments in one day on my stomach area. Not going to lie, when the freezing was done and "coming" out it was very painful for like 15 minutes. They gave me pillow to put over my stomach and told me to take as long as needed. Once the pain subsided I was good to go! Since I did the aggressive treatments I had some swelling and felt like I...

Awesome location. Awesome Staff. Can't say enough about them! :)

Oh my gosh, what can I say... My first time going to the Appleton location has made a lifetime client out of me. Kind, considerate, professional, and knowledgeable staff. Answered ALL of my questions and gave me more than enough information to make the best decisions for me. I really felt like they were helping me decide what would work...and not work for me....only my best interest at heart...

139 Q&A

Q: Nipples are not level with each other 6 months post-op, would a breast band help? (Photo)
Answered by Dr. JanssenJuly 31, 2023

A: Go back and look at your preoperative photos for the same asymmetry. The implants sometimes amplify what was already there. A band will not help.

Q: Grinding pain against my chest wall 4 years after breast implants. Could it be nerve damage?
Answered by Dr. JanssenJuly 18, 2023

A: Sorry to hear of this, but you give too little detail about where the pain is. Which side, what it feels like, what relieves it and whether you can reproduce it by pushing on 1 point. I have had interventional radiology inject alcohol directly into a nerve to stop pain, but can't give you a recommendation without knowing a ton more.

Q: 8 years since breast lift, are there any alternatives to a revision that can help hold my breast up? (photos)
Answered by Dr. JanssenJune 29, 2023

A: There is no stitch that will reliably do what your finger is doing in view #4. Your skin quality and elasticity gets worse as you age. Smokers age much faster. Placing a mesh like Galaflex or Durasorb in the lower part of the breast leave behind an internal bra as they are adsorbed by the body. I would not believe that any sort of suspension from above will work in a reliable way.

Q: 17 days until breast augmentation and I vaped one day, by impulse
Answered by Dr. JanssenJune 21, 2023

A: We test our patients for Cotinine (a breakdown product of Nicotine) if they are having any sort of thin flap surgery like a TT, a breast lift or facelift. If they test positive, we cancel the surgery. I will do Blepharoplasty and Breast Augmentation on active smokers. All that said, the side effects of smoking and vaping (blood vessel constriction and contraction) go away by 2 weeks so as long as you don't give into impulse again, you should be fine.

Q: Mold infested workplace and breast implants
Answered by Dr. JanssenJune 20, 2023

A: In a word, No. The mold may affect your lungs or health, but the mold can not get inside the implant from your body.
