Dr Shaher Khan was my surgeon on September 4th, 2025...
In the mid-1980s I had breast implants placed above my muscle ("Meme" polyurethane covered implants) which I then replaced with "Mentor" textured silicone implants around 12 years later. Within one year the implants had formed Baker Grade 4 encapsulations (hard as a baseball and very painful) and had begun to impact my physical health in many unexpected ways.

I have recently explanted with Dr.Khan and I am extremely happy I made the decision to do so. Dr. Khan and his staff go above and beyond to help you make the best decision for yourself. They make you feel comfortable and confident from the beginning of the process to the end. After researching many “ex plant” “experts”, Dr. Khan by far exceeded my expectations. He actually listens to his patients and sincerely believes in helping women gain their health back.

After being diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in
Dr Khan, Shaher and his team, Sally Administration, Caitlyn Registered Nurse, and Radwa CRNA were all amazing. They were all experts in their fields. Dr Khan is very skilled and compassionate. He truly cares about his patients and achieving the best results and outcomes. I did extensive research and discovered that he is one of the best at breast implant removal/explantation. I traveled from Georgia to have him as my doctor and it was definitely worth it.
Amazing experience as far as a surgery is concerned. I went into my procedure in good health. But I was surprised at how easy recovery has been and I assume it’s due to Dr. Khan’s explant method. Post op was a breeze.
As far as the experience leading up to surgery, Dr. Khans team is impressive. They patiently answer all questions. They are helpful and reassuring. I highly recommend this practice

I had my explants for 15 1/2 years. I have so many symptoms off of the breast implant illness chart. Beast implants are not lifetime devices.. they are meant for 10 year max. I am 4 days post op explant removal with full complete capsulectomy. I had Dr. Khan as my surgeon. I reviewed him for over a year. I am so glad that he was my surgeon. I had saline implants over the muscle for over 10 years and BII is real.
