I was definitely skeptical and unsure of DPS prior to my surgery because of how reasonably priced it was & because of all the deals they offer, but I am SOOO happy with my breast augmentation results! I had a breast augmentation with Dr. Domantovsky in December and am sooo happy with how they look and how they have healed! She was very realistic and understanding of what I wanted. I wanted a natural look that fit my body type and I am so happy with the work she did. The recovery was so easy and surprisingly painless. I would 10000% recommend a breast augmentation w/ Dr. Domantovsky. She did an amazing job.
In August, I finally got my breast augmentation at DPS. At first I wanted to go with Dr. Delmauro but because I didn’t have a lot of time off work. I went with Dr. Shah. I got 450cc moderate plus profile. I took all the meds as prescribed. I was only in pain for 4 days after a week I was able to go back to work. The pain was very minimal. The staff made sure I was comfortable. The only thing I didn’t like was that the anesthesiologist was running late that day which made me a little anxious. Overall, I wish I did it sooner. Dr.Shah suggested 500 cc high profile and I thought it would look fake so that’s why I went with 450 cc moderate plus. I wish they were big tho. I feel like I should have listened to him but I’m happy with my decision. I went to Victoria secret to get measured and I fit a 34 DD. I also went somewhere else and they told me I’m a 34 I. I decided to stick with the Victoria secret wireless bra.
So I'm only two days out but I love it. I was so afraid to hate my my results but my Doc took care of me got me to the size I wanted and is continuing to watch over me. Now it's only been two days and I'm extremely swollen everywhere so I'll update as the weeks go along but here is the initial. Updated on 10 May 2021: Guys, I have no cons. If I could recommend this doctor and scream his name from the rooftops I would. He is so attentive and makes sure that I'm healing well. A helicopter doctor he calls himself within reason. I feel like I have a new lease on life. I'm so happy and if you guys have any questions about my doctor let me know.
I can't suggest this place enough. Lovely office, friendly and smart staff and my Dr (Dr. Bruck ) is informative, talented and absolutely thorough. I went to several consults before I met him and he was the only one that didn't come off like a used car salesman. He genuinely knows his [RS bleep] and won't do what you ask to make a sale but what is best for you and your body. My results are incredible and I look forward to my post-op visits because the staff has treated me so well I look forward to seeing them :) Consults are free, so do not sleep on this place. Go visit the team :)
I can't stand to look at myself naked anymore! I'm done having children and want a fresh start so I can start my life with my new husband. I'm 5'1 and 140 lbs. My breasts are deflated and I'm looking for some volume and also a size boost. My abdomen has been through it and it shows. I want to be rid of the skin and fat hanging over my panties. I want to be able to like the reflection of my nude body in the mirror. I have already consulted and found the doctor to do my procedure, done my medical photos, reserved my hotel suite and scheduled my pre op and medical clearance appointments. My surgeon is part of the residents program at Lenox Hill hospital. He has dual medical licenses in NY and California. My boobs are still a little tender but not bad and they seemed to have dropped. I will post pics taken today so you guys an give me your opinion. Lately I have been feeling kind of down and I'm not sure its normal....Has anyone felt this way? I know I sound like an ungrateful brat and I really don't mean to, I am happy with the work my doctor has done but it just seems that I will never be able to enjoy it because I am always In a recovery garment of some kind. Most of my life I wanted to get my breast done especially when I realized they weren't growing anymore. I spent months researching different doctors even contemplated going to the Dominican Republic. I was on the train and came across the doctors plastic surgery in new York. From my first consultation I was able to meet Dr. Marcelo gershi. The professionalism of the staff was above and beyond. At no point did I feel uncomfortable. The staff give me all the information I would need for my breast augmentation. My surgery was Done on may 18th 2015. So far Iam in love with my new boobs lol.. I went from a 32a to about a 32-34 C 400 cc of silicone. I would recommend Dr. Gershi to others. Updated on 28 May 2015: So it's been a full week since I've had my surgery and my must say the results are looking GREAT!!! I'm so excited about my new boobs. There is still discomfort but the nurse thought me a massage technique to soften them... Can't wait to throw on a bathing suits.
I am a 28 yr old hispanic single mother of 2. After my 2nd child my breast be came non existent. To begin with I was a 32B went up to a 36C in my first pregnancy went back down to a 32B 2nd pregnancy went back up to a 36C then back down agina to 32B with that up and down going on in my breast they became very saggy, no volume push up bras didn't help any more I felt like such a boy in my clothes now because I was so flat. My cousin went and got her breast done 1yr ago with dr.ghersi and she was an A cup starting point, and I love her results her breast look so natural now not knowing her u would never know she got implants so I decieded to get mines done a ur later, only a yr later because I had to save the money for it but they do have loans there you can apply and see if u get approved my cousin did hers through the loan company they work with I was denied the loan cuz of my credit so had to save the money. A year later and I saved my $4,900 and just got my surgery 5 days ago.dr.ghersi is very nice and warming you feel so comfortable with him as if u was with a friend and the staff there is amazing also they making feel very comfortable you forget that your in a doctors office. The day of the surgery I became so relaxed and not nervouse any more. Especially since the days leading up to the surgery day I was very much scared I had never gotten surgery before never been put to sleep before. But once the took me into the pre operating room I felt so at ease in their hands my nervouse went away next thing I knew I was waking up with my new improved boobs. I didn't wake up with any pain or any of that feeling like an elephant was sitting on ur chest feeling I just felt normal like when I usually wake up from sleeping. When I woke up there was a nurse right beside me watching me checking my vitals I woke up she asked me if I wanted some thing to drink and she gave me some water. Today is day 5 of my surgery and I feel great i stopes taking my pain meds after the 3rd day my breast look and feel great swelling has gone down a lot. I am very happy with the results. I highly highly suggest dr.ghersi at doctors plastic surgery in Long Island city newyork. Also the place is very convenient location no matter where u live in nyc I live in the Bronx and it took me about 20 to 30 min on the train to get there.
I have been wanting bigger breast since I was in 9th grade. After having children and breast feeding my breast grew to small B cups, 34B. I would only buy bras and swimsuits with padding. Victorias Secret Bombshell bra was my secret weapon. I was constantly doing research but never had the guts to schedule appointments until after I had my second child. I went on two consultations and met with top doctors in NYC but none of them made me feel very comfortable until I went on my third consultation and met Dr. Jason Altman and his staff at Doctors Plastic Surgery in Long Island City. Dr. Altman answered all of my questions (the few that I had because I had been doing so much research) he let me try on different sizers and he understood exactly what I meant when I told him I wanted the perfect size, not to big not too small. We decided on Mentor memory gel silicone 450cc smooth round implants. After meeting with doctor Altman I met with the patient coordinator Catherine who informed me that she had just had a breast revision with doctor Altman and she couldn't be happier with her results. I went home and did more research on Doctor Altman and found out that he was a top plastic surgeon in the Miami area and he didn't have one negative review anywhere! As a school teacher I was nervous about the time off I would need for recovery but Doctor Altman assured me that 5 days to a week was plenty of time to recover. Two weeks before my surgery I went on my pre-op consultation, I tried on sizers again, got answers to final questions, was given my prescriptions and paid my remaining balance. Clearance from my primary doctor was slow due to some minor complications and the staff at Doctors Plastic Surgery were very accommodating, they even called my primary doctor on numerous occasions to make sure everything was in order. On the day of my surgery I was scheduled to come in at 10:45am but the staff called me that morning and told me that scheduling was a little behind so please come in at 11:45am. As soon as I got there I was prepped, my vitals were taken, i met with the anesthesiologist and Dr. Altman. They assured me everything would be okay and to make a long story short I woke up with BOOBS! lol. I was in some pain and a tone of pressure and tightness on my chest. The doctor was the first person I saw and after about 45mins to an hour in recovery I was on my way home. I had very little pain as long as I kept up with my pain meds and muscle relaxers. My chest is still very tight and sore but the pain is bearable. I am now 5 days post-op, I wear my compression sports bra day and night, I sleep in a up-right position, I have almost finished all of my pain meds and I am truly happy. I wish I would have went a little larger but I assume as my implants drop I will be much happier with my final results. Updated on 11 Nov 2014: The first day back to work was so difficult. I was feeling great at first and thought I didn't need to take anymore pain meds or muscle relaxers, boy was I wrong. I'm a school teacher and as the day progressed simple task such as writing on the board, going up and down steps and carrying my laptop became increasingly difficult as the day progressed. In hein sight I should have taken it easy and asked for more help. My chest became extremely tight, painful and swollen. Moral of the story ladies, even if you start to feel like your normal self give your body ample time to heal and recover. Updated on 11 Nov 2014: I was a 34B, I hope when my breast settle I will be a 34D! Updated on 15 Nov 2014: Last Thursday I went in for my one week post op appointment. Doctor said everything seems to be fine and I still had a lot of swelling. I was instructed on how to do the massages. I should squeeze my breast from the bottom causing the implant to move up and than squeeze my breast from the top, causing the implant to move down. 3 times a day 10 times each. My only concern at this point is the pain the implant is causing along the incision site. It seems like the implant is to far down causing pressure and pain, more so on my right breast. In any event the doctor said the weight of the implant and Gravity is causing the discomfort and with time everything will heal and adapt. Patience is key. My scars are small and heeling well. Doctor recommended Biocorneum a silicone ointment for scars. It was quite expensive $90 bucks! So it better work. Reflecting back on this journey I am truly happy with my decision to have a breast augmentation, I just wish they were a little bigger lol. Updated on 15 Nov 2014: Updated on 17 Nov 2014: It has been officially 2 weeks since my breast augmentation and I feel pretty normal. My breast are still a little sore and ofcourse I still have to wear my surgical bra. The massages seem to make my breast extra sore, is this happening to anyone else? I'm not taking any type of pain medicine and my chest no longer feels tight. Today was the first day that I started to really feel like my breast were apart of me and not foreign. I still have major discomfort at the incision site near the fold of my breast but it seems to be getting better. My scars are healing nicely as well. I can't wait to see my final outcome in the months to come. Updated on 17 Nov 2014:
More than 11 years ago as earlier explained I had my first set of saline implants subglandular done at Bellevue hospital by Dr. Norman Rowe. I knew plenty of women that had implants because I was a figure competitor & generally most ladies had very little body fat which meant small breasts. As a result I'd say more than 65% of the ladies had boob jobs. I never felt comfortable asking the other ladies that I graced the stage with personal questions about there breast. When I was finally able to get mine done I just went in blindly & pretty much wanted the equivalent of a full b/standard c cup. I never considered shape of the implant, I knew nothing about capsular contracture & wasn't given very many details thereafter by the doctor about care post surgery. Late June I had a rupture of my left implant which forced me to do a removal & get new implants sooner than later. I went on one consultation & loved the energy, vibe & confidence of the surgeon. Dr.Altman at Doctors Plastic Surgery in Long Island City NY did an amazing job. I am so happy with his work. My breasts have a nice natural shape to them unlike the first set of implants that I received. I love the size. They're full & beautiful. I know the swelling will go down more as it is only 9 days post surgery but I hope not too much. The staff at Doctors Plastic Surgery were pleasant & professional. The office & facility clean. I'm so much happier with my 2nd set of implants. Dr. Altman was so thorough. I received a lot of detailed information about how to prep for surgery & what to do post surgery. It made me feel really secure with my decision to choose him. I am 5'5, athletic, 137 lbs, with 500 CC smooth round high profile gel implants. I also was given my implant ID card for my records which I had never received with my initial set. I no longer compete but still have women that I've maintained a friendship with that are still involved in the sport. I also work in the fitness industry as a nationally certified group fitness instructor at one of the most popular high end facilities in NYC as well as a few other community centers/gyms around the outer boroughs & NYC. Needless to say I have a large network of women that I know who get work done & have breast jobs or interested in getting a breast job. I selectively told several of the women about my surgery & I'm sure they're eager to see Dr. Altman's work. I return to work Friday 9/19. Dr. Altman be prepared to get super busy bc I can currently your biggest fan & will show your work off to as many of the ladies that are interested in having breast augmentation. I wanted to post a pic of my new girls but my boyfriend forbid me to do so. I feel like. New woman thanks to Dr. Altman & his staff at Doctors plastic Surgery
So I’m about 2 weeks post op now, so I’d thought I’d share my journey and results with everyone. I had been wanting a nose job for years now and finally took the plunge! I decided to travel down to Miami and get my rhino done with Dr.Ghersi. The patient coordinator there, Keidy was super helpful prior to my visit and answered all the questions I had. We were in contact almost every day lol. Shes really sweet in person too. Ghersi and all of his staff were really nice. The day of surgery, I kinda started to get cold feet. It all seemed so scary and surreal. Maybe it was worse because I was there by myself .. so I think I may bring someone next time if I get another procedure. But once the anesthesigist put the needle in my arm, I was out and next thing I know I was waking up with a splitting headache. Most of the experiences I read from other people describe no pain for nose jobs, but I felt like I got hit by a truck after. But after taking the pain pills and taking a nap, I felt back to normal. Didn’t even need the nurse they made me get. Lol I had some moderate bruising around my eyes that took about 2 weeks to fully resolve, and some light swelling on my eyes and face that went away after like 3-4 days. I’d say my first and second day were the worst for me in terms of discomfort and appearance. Now when I initially got my cast off, I was in SHOCK when I saw myself. I looked sooooo different. I wish more people talked about the psychological aspects of rhinoplasty, cuz a girl was going through it! It’s weird to see yourself with a different face lol. Honestly, I really did not like the way my nose looked at first. It was so straight and narrow. But I think it may have just been from the cast pressing on it and the swelling distorting it a bit. But after a while it started to grow on me. I think I just wasn’t used to seeing myself like that. My main concern right now is the tip being too long/low and if my bridge is gonna be really thin when the swelling goes down because it has swelled up since getting the cast off. I kinda flip through periods of liking it, and being kinda iffy on it everyday. But overall I feel it’s an improvement. Today, being 15 days post, it’s looking a lot better and I think I’ll have a nice result once all the swelling goes down. I know I’m still really early in my healing process and my nose is gonna change a lot over the upcoming year. I’d say I’m about 85% satisfied with it right now, and hope the other 15% comes with time. Also, NO ONE has noticed my nose job and it is the craziest thing to me lmao. I didn’t tell many ppl about it, but was sure everyone would notice when I got back cuz it seems like such a drastic change to me. But I haven’t even gotten so much as a funny look or “you look different, did you change your hair/lose weight?” Type comments. Not even from my family. But it has swelled up a lot, so I guess it doesn’t look to far from my natural nose. Which is great, cuz I want to stay lowkey about it. Can’t wait to see how things progress. Now just Impatiently waiting for this swelling to go down so I can see my final result. Updated on 2 Oct 2018: Officially 3 weeks today and things are going well. My breathing is a lot better than the first week, but it’s still not 100% back to normal. I think the remaining stuffiness should be gone within the next 2 weeks, hopefully. Visually, my nose hasn’t changed much from the second week, it’s still super swollen and I’m just impatiently waiting for it to go down. Especially my tip. It’s crazy, cuz when I got my cast off I thought it looked too thin before it ballooned up in the following days/weeks, but I would love to have my nose like that now LOL. I feel like I still have my old nose cuz it doesn’t look that different with all the swelling. The swelling is also uneven and it distorts my nose a little bit. Especially in flash pics. I was looking like squidward for about a week, but it’s gotten a little better. One thing I’ve noticed too, is that my nose is itchy AF around my scars and incisions. I don’t think it’s infected, just apart of the healing, but it’s really annoying. After I clean it, I’ve been putting Shea butter and jbco on it to help with scars and keep it moisturized. So I hope that helps. Also don’t have too much mucus/drainage in there anymore. It seems to be drying up and getting back to normal and I don’t have to use my nasal spray as often. The internal healing was the most prominent this past week, but hopefully I’ll be able to see more physical changes in the upcoming week. I’ll post another progress pic at 1 month. ? Updated on 10 Oct 2018: So it’s been about 4 weeks since my surgery and I’m loving my results so far. I swear my nose looks better and better everyday. Ghersi did a great job! It looks very natural. No jackson nose, thank god. Lol. I feel like it really fits with and balances out my features. I’ve noticed my lips an cheekbones have been looking especially good lately.. lol. Like my nose job let my other nice features stand out more. The swelling has gone down a lot, and it’s mostly on the bottom 1/3 of my nose, around my tip. And it’s still pretty uneven.. it’s worse on my left side. But you can’t tell much in person. It’s also been feeling more normal lately, like a real untouched nose. It’s softening up and stabilizing. Before it felt really hard, numb and weird feeling. My breathing is kind of in-and-out. One minute it’s fine, then later it will stuff up and I have to breathe through my mouth. I can’t wait until I can breathe normally 100%. Kinda annoying. The one concern I have with my nose now is that my nostrils seem to flare and pull up a little bit too much when I smile now, and it makes my columella area look a bit too long and prominent. I wonder if Botox will be able to fix that. But it’s a minor issue. Gonna try and travel down to Miami really quick to o a follow up, and hopefully get a steroid shot to help bring the swelling down some more. Will also likely be getting my bbl done with Ghersi in the near future as well. Overall I am very happy with my nose and will post another update at the 2 month mark! Updated on 11 Nov 2018: I’m about 2 months post right now and things are still going well. My nose looks great and I love it. It’s super natural looking. My profile is probably my favorite part. It’s the nose I should have been born with lol! It seems like about 65-70% of the swelling has gone down, and it’s mainly in the tip. It’s really softened up over time and feels a lot more normal. My breathing is normal for the most part too, although it gets slightly stuffy sometimes. Looking back at my old pictures is super weird now tho.. lol. I’m like “I don’t know her!”. Lmaooo. I look sooo much better with my new nose. Subtle changes were made but I feel it made a big difference. Next stop is my BBL, but I’m still not sure who I want to do it or when to get it done but I’ll make another review for that when I get it. I’ll update this post again at the 4 months mark. Happy healing! ~ Updated on 27 Feb 2019: Here is my nose at 4 months Updated on 27 Feb 2019: Oops sorry, here is the pic lol Updated on 27 Feb 2019: All is going well for the most part. I’m so used to my nose now it’s weird looking at old pics lol. It wasn’t a super drastic change but I look way better overall and my nose looks so natural, I love it. Only issues I’ve had is that my nose gets a lot infected around one of the incision areas inside near the tip. I have to clean it frequently to keep it from getting infected. Other than that, all has been well and my nose is looking great. I think I am healing really well and the tip has much more definition now. Can’t wait to see how it looks at the one year mark. Time is going by so fast.
