I can't stand to look at myself naked anymore! I'm done having children and want a fresh start so I can start my life with my new husband. I'm 5'1 and 140 lbs. My breasts are deflated and I'm looking for some volume and also a size boost. My abdomen has been through it and it shows. I want to be rid of the skin and fat hanging over my panties. I want to be able to like the reflection of my nude body in the mirror. I have already consulted and found the doctor to do my procedure, done my medical photos, reserved my hotel suite and scheduled my pre op and medical clearance appointments. My surgeon is part of the residents program at Lenox Hill hospital. He has dual medical licenses in NY and California. He made me feel very comfortable and is very responsive to my questions via E-mail.
My surgeon answered all of my questions with certainty and confidence. I have already got my surgery haul. Complete with toilet seat riser and shower chair. I also bought leg elevating pillows, back rest pillows, guaze,bandaids, scar strips, peroxide, Lysol wipes, Lysol spray, vitamin c drops, compression garments (3) throat lozenges gloves,bio oil, ....I think I'm ready! I can't wait to see the new me!

I just received the medical photos on a CD today.......I BURST INTO TEARS! MY BODY LOOKS WORSE THAN I THOUGHT!!!! PROFESSIONAL CAMERAS CATCH EVERY FLAW :( My husband tried making me feel by telling me that he thought I was very sexy, It did not help, but I appreciate his kind words. I am so anxious, just want to get the surgery done already!

Awe don’t be so hard on yourself! We all think we look “bad” before our transformations! Just think about all the wonderful things that body has done! I’m hoping that your makeover gives you as much confidence as mine has done for me. Best thing I ever did for myself ;)

Well, I hope those were tears of joy! Lol! Knowing pretty soon the "before" body will be a thing of the past! Before you know it, only a distant memory! But, I know how you feel! Having to take those "before" pictures can be pretty mortifying! But, that's exactly what we gotta face and look at head on to appreciate how wonderful our "after" will be! Best wishes with your upcoming surgery! : )

A little over 4 weeks before my surgery date and I may have to push my date 2 weeks! I am scheduled for 3/1 and surgery has to be paid in full by at least 2/21, funds will not be available until 2/27 the earliest! :( My heart is set on 3/1, I have everything I need! Don't want to wait an extra 2 weeks!

Everything happens for a reason. my surgery I set for 6/1/2018. I’m waiting for the same reason. I don’t want to stress about finances when he time comes! you’ll look beautiful either way, I’m sure

Omg! You are awesome, thank you for that! Congrats on your upcoming surgery, I'm sure everything will work out perfectly for you and you will look fabulous! I'm getting really anxious, my pre op appointment is tomorrow! I stopped smoking for a month, but I slipped and had 3 cigarettes :( I still have a month before surgery so no more cigarettes, I just feel bad because I did so good then messed up!

You are so welcome! Thank you for the well wishes. I’m nervous, anxious, excited, scared and happy all at the same time! SMH... I’m not a smoker but some of the people I love he most are and I know it isn’t easy to quit. FYI-I have a friend who had a tummy tuck and smoked. her incision didn’t heal properly at all. 5 years later, she spent the money AGAIN! second time she didn’t smoke and her incision is BEAUTIFUL now! I’m sure this month will fly by, you won’t even miss the cigs

No. I won't, I was just really frustrated, but I won't smoke another cigarette even after surgery and healing.
It was really hard the first few days of quitting, I think I was in actual pain from the withdrawal. I had my Pcp prescribe Chantix, it's been working well. The day I smoked I had not taken it for a few days before.

I am 41 With 3 children my date is set for march8 in miami amd im so scared .Everyday different thoughts come in and I dont want yo do it. Let me know how things go I am getting tt breast lift and saline im excited but scared .my doctor had his first death in 40 years so that scares me.

Congrats on your upcoming surgery! You will be fine! We are always,our worse enemy, you are getting anxious because your date is very soon! March 8 is my son's birthday!
I'm sorry to here about that young woman's death, more than likely there was something underlying that she may not have disclosed to her surgeon. You will come through your surgery with flying colors. Please keep me posted and good luck!

It is scary, any surgery is, but you should be comforted that your Dr hasn't had a death in 40 years - that's fantastic! That patient may have had other health issues going on, that maybe they weren't even aware of. Best of luck!
