Clinic Wise

I recently traveled to Istanbul for surgery and want to share my positive experience. After arriving at the airport, my friend and I were warmly welcomed and picked up right away. We were taken directly to the clinic for the necessary pre-surgery tests. After that, we went to the Antswell Hotel, where we spent the first night.

The night before surgery, I couldn’t eat or drink, as usual. Early the next morning, we went back to the Wise Clinic for my surgery. Everything was well-organized and went smoothly. The surgery was successful, and I stayed one night at the clinic. The medical staff took excellent care of me—they were very professional and attentive, which made me feel safe and calm.

After leaving the clinic, I stayed at the Antswell Hotel for four more days. The hotel was very comfortable and perfect for recovery. The whole process was well-planned, and at the end of my stay, we were taken back to the airport on time.

My coordinator, Lina, supported me throughout the whole process. She played a big role in making everything easy and stress-free. Lina was always there for me, visiting me in both the clinic and the hotel, and helping with anything I needed. She was always friendly, professional, and kind, which made my stay much easier. She answered all my questions and made me feel well taken care of.

I am very grateful for the excellent service—from transportation to medical care and Lina’s personal support. Everything was well-organized and comfortable.

I highly recommend this experience, especially for anyone considering surgery abroad. Lina and the entire team made the process simple, safe, and pleasant.

My experience with clinicwise and Dr Mehmet Solmaz has been amazing from start to finish. I had 360 lipo, 360 tummy tuck, bbl and chin lipo. From the start the team were professional and went over and above to assist me. Dr Solmaz is an incredible surgeon and has transformed my body beyond belief. The nurses care was outstanding and they arw now friends for life. I would not use any other company.. better than any UK private hospital.. I have had 2 very large procedures done at this clinic: one with Dr Ersin Gonullu—a tummy tuck, BBL, 360 liposuction, and breast lift—the other with Dr Hakan—a face lift, neck lift, brow lift, chin implant, and lower eyelid surgery. Both procedure’s results are excellent and I have absolutely no complaints. In fact, the results of each procedure were better than I expected and I am already planning my next visit to this same clinic for another large procedure: an arm lift, thigh lift, and breast augmentation. When traveling from your own country to a country that is very different, it’s a little scary, but this clinic has both times made me feel like family. They will go out of their way to solve any issues that you have, or at least they did for me. You will likely leave Istanbul with new friends. I know I have. There were so many people that helped me during these trips that I came to believe it must not only be the clinic but the city and country. Clinic wise does an excellent job of representing Istanbul and you will leave Istanbul in love with it, partially because of this clinic. There are more people than I can remember that assisted me. But some of their names are Dr Gonullu, Dr Hakan, Burcu, Sheyma, Aicha, Atakan, Ömer, Ahmet, Joseph, Berre and Aleyna. I believe that if any of these people do something for you, they do it with all of their heart. You are in good hands—especially with Sheyma. She was the consultant for my second trip and was always available to help, whether I was at home in America, or in Turkey. The first trip, my husband accompanied me so that during my recovery, he could go to the store for anything I needed. The second trip however, I went alone and was very nervous since he would not be present. It turned out though, I didn’t need him, because I had Sheyma. Lol! Anything I needed, (bottled water, pads, a neck pillow, etc.), all I had to do was let her know and she would send someone with it. Since I left, we have become very good friends! We talk LIKE EVERYDAY, no longer just about my recovery, but about life in general! We’re making plans on my next trip to do breakfast together, and she’s offered to take me on a REAL tour of Istanbul. I absolutely adore her she is a sweetheart!

I recently had the pleasure of undergoing a lipo bbl performed by Dr. Ersin, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I got exactly what I had imagined and I can't believe I get to live in this body now.
From the initial consultation to the post-operative care, he exhibited genuine care for my well-being and was very warm. All my nerves instantly disappeared after the consultation the morning of the surgery.
The aftercare was also superb. All the nurses and coordinators went over and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and did regular checks to make sure I was doing okay. Im one month post op and I still get regular check in from the coordinators. I'm very pleased and would recommend clinic wise and Dr Ersin to everyone.

Ich war im Juni für das BBL bei Dr. Ersin Gönüllü und das Ergebnis ist perfekt geworden! Von der ersten Kontaktaufnahme bis zur Abreise konnte man sich immer an Lina wenden, sie war mein Patientenkoordinator. Nicht nur über WhatsApp, sondern auch in Istanbul vor Ort hat sie einen begleitet. Der Transfer holt einen immer ab und fährt einen von A nach B, man muss sich um nichts kümmern außer um seine Flugtickets. Meine Freundin und ich waren zusammen dort und konnten sogar direkt nacheinander operiert werden + einen Rabatt gab es auch. Die Krankenschwestern im KH und die, die für die Kontrolle ins Hotel kamen sind alle sehr lieb und herzlich. Man braucht keine Angst haben, auch nicht wegen er Sprachbarrieren. Englisch zu sprechen ist möglich, im Notfall hilft auch Google translator. Wenn man ein Problem hat oder sogar Einkäufe wie Wasser oder anderes braucht, helfen die dir dabei oder bringen es dir. Die Nachsorge wird einem gut erklärt, sodass man die Massagen auch selber machen kann. Der Arzt redet sehr offen mit einem, sagt einem was möglich ist und was nicht. Er hat mich mehr als zufrieden gestellt und ich kann kaum glauben, was für ein neues Lebensgefühl diese Operation mir gegeben hat. Jetzt nach 6 Monaten wird immernoch gefragt, wie es mir geht und ob ich zufrieden bin. Top Nachsorge, ich bin sehr glücklich!

My Coordinator was Cleo Tayfun. From my first contact, she was able to build a foundation of trust. I asked questions freely. Detailed answers were provided.
I had a video consultation with Dr Hakan Demirel. Apart from my personal research and gut feeling about the procedure, clinic and Doctor, Cleo was able to make me feel comfortable with my Decision to go with Dr Hakan Demirel and I did not feel any pressure at all.
My offer came with personalized details about the procedure and package plan in Turkey.
Although I felt a bit of time pressure to secure the price offered to me, this was also handled very well when I discussed it.
I had my Surgery August 2023 and Cleo was able to secure my chosen date. I expressed concern about the timelines (drain removal, massage) after surgery and she was able to provide solutions that eased my concerns.
In Turkey, I was picked up by the assigned Taxi company on arrival. My Personal Assistant (Omer) helped with pre-op processes at the hospital and accompanied me to the Hotel. All the staff at the hospital were professional. Omer helped translate all conversations. I had a consultation with my Anaesthesiologist, and she seemed very competent and experienced. I was able to ask her questions about the medication to be used, my concerns, and she explained everything to me. Patient health was prioritized as she told me to inform her if I experienced any cold symptoms before my appointment.
Going into Surgery and Post-Surgery, I felt even more comfortable because the Nurse assigned to me could speak a little English. They were kind & professional. I would say I also extended kind remarks to the staff as I believe you should treat people the way you want them to treat you.
I asked questions every step of the way about the medications being administered to my IV. All the staff in the operating room were really kind. Hospital facilities 10/10 (Istanbul Onkoloji Hastanesi).
When I woke up, Omer was there with me, my Doctor also came in to address me. Due to shift changes, I had a night nurse that was not particularly careful in handling my drains and caused me some pain. There was a man who was a Nursing Assistant, a bit older, who really showed care. He came to check up on me quite frequently to see if I was eating, sleeping well or if I needed anything. He also escorted me when I was leaving the hospital.
I was very comfortable with Doctor Hakan and his private nurse, hospital staff and facilities, hotel and the Clinic Wise Nurse at the Hotel who visited every evening (with bottles of water for me ) till I left Turkey. Although most of the nursing staff did not speak English, we were able to communicate well with Google Translate App.
Now 3 months post-op, I am grateful I had a smooth experience. Still waiting to see my final final results but most of my swelling already subsided.
Based on my personal experience, I would 100% recommend Clinic Wise and Doctor Hakan Demirel.
AfterCare team seems a bit delayed with responses. I also think when you return to your base, its more like the rest is up to you. Your concerns will be forwarded to your Doctor but at that point, I think they will only offer advise and you will have to pursue treatment at your GP if any issue arises. Again, I am thankful for a smooth journey and will wait to see the final look of things.

Improvement area
Patients should be given another consultation session (30 mins – 60mins) with Doctor in-person before surgery to agree on desired result (shape, size etc.).
Consultation with Doctor on Surgery Day felt a bit rushed. I was not sure about the fat transfer part of my surgery, and I had hoped that there will be room to discuss my concerns and patiently advise on the specifics. I felt like I needed to make a quick decision on the spot.

My sister had undergone surgery a few years ago by Dr Gonullu and was very pleased with the result. I wanted to have breast reduction so i went to her surgeon.
Evetything went so smooth; thanks to the Clinic Wise team and Dr Ersin Gonullu. I'm very happy with their care and outcome. Thank you all :)

I had my 360 lipo & bbl done with Dr Hakan back in March. He’s very professional and made me comfortable with the whole process. It started off with a message to the clinic and Cleo got in touch with me. Cleo is such a gem honestly she made things so smooth for me and I didn’t stress one bit when it came to the whole process and procedure. She introduced me to Dr Hakan and at the beginning I wasn’t very sure if I wanted to go with him until I saw his works and was pleased with what I saw but I wanted to have video call with him. Cleo organised the call for me and when we got on the call he was lively and he answered all my questions and concerns. I was happy with his responses back and I was happy enough to go ahead and book with him.
On the day of surgery, it all went so fast I had blood taken and put in my gown. Dr Hakan came in to mark me and I told him what I wanted he listened and also recommended what was best for me which I listened and agreed as he cares a lot about safety so he will ensure he gets all the details across to you so you know what is expected from surgery what he needs you to do post op. Surgery went well and I love the way he got my waist snatched. I used to have one pot belly now the stomach is flat flat. The body shape I went for was a natural bbl look and it looks great. Sena who was my assistant assigned by the clinic was so amazing and lovely! She did a lot of the translations for me in the hospital and with the drivers. I did have my best friend with me to help take care of me. I would highly suggest bringing someone with you because I can’t imagine doing it alone. Don’t get me wrong you can do it alone but you will defo be very uncomfortable and very sore so having someone to help you do the basics for a few days does help out a lot. I’m currently 5months post op and recovering great . The first month was abit tough
Post op care is a MUST! The only negative I have to say is that the clinic post op check in was not very frequent I found I had to chase up a few times when I had questions as I did have a lot of fluid after post op which ngl did freak me out but with my massages(creamsmassages based in london) she got me all the way together so massages will play a huge part of your recovery and wearing your Faja too! Other than that I’m loving my results and my body!
I would defo come back to the clinic again as they do care a lot about your safety which was huge deal for me.

A few years ago, I was in love with big breast, so I had implants. But then I realised that it wasn't really for me and wanted to get them off. I was coming in Turkey for holidays so I said why not, I found Clinic Wise. I am happy to have my surgery with this clinic. I heal very good and they're always contacting me asking if I'm good.
