I recently went back to Clinic Wise this time for a rhinoplasty with the amazing Dr Hakan Demirel based in Istanbul. The procedure was really comfortable and went well, Dr Hakan made me feel at ease and was realistic with me regarding the results. I previously went to Clinic Wise for neck liposuction and a hair transplant with Dr Ersin Gonullu in November 2023 and both of those procedures also went very well. Clinic Wise are very good at organising your trip, transfers and hospital appointments. I would strongly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a smooth and comfortable cosmetic procedure in Turkey.
I had Lipo 360 and BBL with DR Hakan in August 2023. I am so happy with him, the team at Clinicwise, and my results. From the first day I messaged the team I was assigned Joseph as a patient coordinator and he answered all my questions and worries. Even my concerns that were slightly ridiculous he took them all seriously and reassured me. I had a video consultation with Dr. Hakan and he was very kind and reassuring. The team put me in contact with a dietician who helped me prepare and get my body ready for the surgery with a diet plan. When I arrived in Turkey the hotel was very nice and the staff were of great help. There was a VIP service car transfer and team members waiting for me. I went to the hospital had all my tests and spoke to the anesthesiologist which was great. The morning of my surgery I went to the hospital got prepared and Dr. Hakan came in spoke to me and marked me up. He listened to all my requests and did the best surgery I could have possibly asked for. I woke up and the hospital staff took great care of me helping me with everything and were very kind. The pain is not as terrible as I expected. I was up and walking after 4hrs and at no time did I feel unsafe. After my stay in the hospital, I went back to the hotel and a nurse checked on me every morning and evening and checked my incisions. I was provided a massage by Dr. Hakan a few days after my surgery which was the most painful part of the process but is imperative for great healing and results. After I got back to the UK the team has still been checking in on me. All I can say is a massive thank you to everyone that I came into contact with during this time. I am so happy with my results and I got exactly what I wanted. I traveled by myself and was safe and well taken care of. My only little feedback was I wish the hospital had given me more water. My meals never came with any water. I had some in my fridge anyway that I brought myself so I had no problems but that's literally the only feedback I have. I hope to go back again to make my bum a little bugger again which is just a personal preference but would still be 100% happy with my current results.
I only have good things to say about clinic wise! The staff who work there are literal angels. My coordinator was Lina and my assistant in Istanbul was Omer. Between the two of them they made my whole experience wonderful. I can't thank them enough. I traveled alone so their constant support meant a lot and made me feel safe the whole way through. When I first contacted clinic wise to see of they might be a good fit for me I was connected to Lina. She answered my questions and concerns over a couple of months (I was talking to several clinics). I finally decided that I had the best gut feeling with clinic wise. Lina set up a zoom meeting with Dr Hakan and after that call I decided to go ahead with the surgery. Lina helped find dates that suited me and Dr. Hakan's calendar. I first paid a deposit and then the rest of the amount before the surgery. I paid via bank transfer and so there was a minor fee but nothing big. In the months leading up to me flying to Istanbul Lina would periodically check in and see how I was doing. She was always ready to answer any questions I had. When I arrived in Istanbul I was driven to the hospital and met by Omer. There they took my blood for testing and did an ECG. Omer like Lina was just the best. As I was traveling alone he was my "person" through all of this and I can honestly say that I didn't regret coming alone because I knew he was there looking out for me. He would translate for me when hospital staff etc didn't speak English. Other than that he was constantly checking in with me to make sure I felt comfortable. Both in person and over WhatsApp. I spent two nights and three days at the hospital. I had my own private room which was very lush for a hospital. The nurses, cleaners and orderlies were all so so so friendly. A lot of them didn't speak English but we made it work. They were so sweet to me and were constantly checking my vitals etc. I felt very attended to and safe. Dr Hakan and his nurse were both just great! Each time I saw him he took time to answer all of my questions and concerns. He was there when I woke up to let me know that everything went fine. I saw him again for two checkups in the days following. I have only good things to say about him and his team. In general I would advise anyone considering plastic surgery to be very specific about the look you want to achieve. It might be awkward to talk about different insecurities etc. but the more specific you are the better your surgeon can help you. Dr Hakan was very attentive when it came to understanding what areas I was most insecure about. After three days at the hospital I was taken to my hotel by Omer. He checked in for me and helped me get my things to my room. I stayed at Antwell Suites. The room was lovely. If you want to avoid having to go to the restaurant I would advise paying a cash deposit at the reception which can then be used to order room service. Any money not spent is returned at check out. I ate at the restaurant every morning. The breakfast buffet was included and was delicious. So many things to choose from. For lunch and dinner I either ate at the restaurant or ordered delivery through the app Getir. If you order from Getir it gets delivered to the lobby and you have to go and get it. This was absolutely fine for me as I was quite mobile after my surgery but something to keep in mind if you're not. While at the hotel one of the clinic wise nurses came to check on me twice a day and to empty my drains. She also helped me have my first shower. I sadly can't remember her name but she was so kind and lovely. She had an app that we could speak to and it would translate for us. So even though she didn't speak English it was smooth sailing. I generally didn't find the language barrier to be a problem. I instinctually trusted all the nurses and staff because they made me feel safe and at ease. I will say that I'm generally not a very anxious person when it comes to hospital, pain, needles etc. and so it didn't bother me that a lot of the hospital staff didn't speak English very well. If you are it might be nice to bring someone with you. Otherwise Omer was literally only a phone call away the whole time. On my last night at the hotel Lina came by to meet me. It was so lovely of her to do and great to finally give the person I've been texting with for months a hug. She had a gift box for me full of Turkish goodies which I was so touched by. If you're considering getting plastic surgery done in Turkey I can't recommend Clinic wise enough. They made the whole experience feel personal. I didn't feel I was just another customer. They really took care of me and I'm truly grateful to all the people I met whilst in Istanbul. My results are yet to be truly gleaned as I'm only 3 weeks post op. But so far I'm really really pleased. I can't wait to see what it'll look like in 6 months once all the swelling goes down. With a weight loss total of 60kg from gastric sleeve surgery in 2021 I had been left with a lot of loose skin and had a non existent butt and a wee apron from the loose skin on my back, after 12 months of research I finally found the surgeon and practice for me and decided to undergo surgery on Friday the 14th of July 2023, I had liposuction, back lift, and Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedure with Dr Hakan Demirel, and I must say that my experience exceeded all expectations. His confidence and expertise instantly put me at ease, and I knew I was in capable hands. On the day of the surgery, the entire team made sure I felt comfortable and reassured. The facilities were state-of-the-art, creating a soothing and safe environment. The nursing staff, Coordinators and Assistants was attentive, warm, and supportive, providing me with the care and attention I needed post-surgery. Their constant presence and willingness to answer any questions I had greatly contributed to my peace of mind. One aspect that stood out during my experience was the surgeon's eye for detail. Not only did he skillfully remove excess fat and contour my back, but his artistic touch during the Brazilian Butt Lift truly transformed my figure. I am amazed by the natural and beautiful results, and it's clear that the surgeon takes immense pride in his work. Throughout the recovery process, the surgeon and his team continued to be accessible and responsive. They regularly checked in on my progress and provided helpful post-operative support, ensuring a smooth and successful recovery. This level of dedication and attentiveness made me feel valued as a patient, and I knew my well-being was their top priority and doing this on my own all the way from New Zealand this really made me feel comfortable, confident and at ease. In addition to their surgical expertise, the entire team treated me with genuine care and respect. They understood that undergoing cosmetic procedures can be a vulnerable experience, and they never hesitated to offer emotional support and encouragement. It truly felt like I was part of a caring family, and this made a significant difference in my overall experience and I feel so blessed and grateful to of had this surgery with such an amazing group of humans. I will remember this experience for the rest of my life and damnn I am in love with my results! It’s only 1.5 weeks post op and everyday I see more of an improvement as the swelling and bruising goes down. Thanks again Dr Hakan Demirel! You’re heaven sent :) such an amazing Dr and artist! Dr. Hakan and his staff were very professional and friendly, they made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions. I am very happy with the rhinoplasty, they took their time knowing about my last surgery with a different doctor which damaged my nose. Dr. Hakan and his team did a phenomenal job.
