Saggy Jowls Gone! Hello Jawline!

A few years ago, I saw a side-by-side picture of a friend about 20 years apart. Her face was turned to the side in both pictures and I noticed how loose and saggy that view was. I promised myself that I would do something about that if/when that happened to me. It probably happened a while ago but nothing like 8 hours of Zoom calls to point out ALL of your flaws from EVERY angle. I called Chevy Chase Facial out of the blue and they were quick to return my call and eventually we had a virtual consult. They recommended fillers. We set up an appointment for the end of Jan. 2021. I was skeptical - how can adding more volume make my face more slim and young? Well! I was sooo wrong! My face looks so much younger and structured. I don't think I have ever looked like this before as I had some very large glands in my neck from a teenage bout with mono that always left me with a looser jawline (in my opinion). I am so pleased with these results. I actually had 5 syringes, which sounds like a lot but it is 1 teaspoon of filler if you squeezed it out. I had Juvederm Voluma in my cheeks and Vollure in my nasolabial folds. The doctor told me that he recommended filler for my lips (always tucked in and small, not an age thing). I said "why not". I see some improvement, but it doesn't seem worth $650 - but I think that's because I don't have great lip anatomy, not the filler (Restylane Kysse). I was still struggling with my under eyes, and the doctor suggested a chemical peel which seemed concerning given how sensitive my skin is. I did some research and found that tear duct filler might help. I went to another doctor (I can review separately). I had 1cc of Restylane (Lyft, I think) and then went back 2 weeks later for a second (maybe another 1.5). My pictures below are from before all the filler and after just the 5 syringes of facial filler. I can upload pics of the tear duct filler results when they are fully baked.

Neoskin Laser for facial hair removal

Extremely happy with my results. As a middle easterner, I struggled with facial hair and constant waxing. I decided to do permanent facial hair removal via laser. I got my face and neck treated. Dr. Sitapara was awesome. Great bedside manner and incredibly thorough with my treatment. I noticed a HUGE reduction in hair growth after just 1 visit. Now, I'm post 2 sessions and couldn't be more satisfied. Laser hair does require maintenance after completing the initial treatment phase, but it's well worth it. Most likely a follow up treatment once every 6 months. I learned it also has other benefits including skin rejuvenation via collagen stimulation and scar removal. I'd highly recommend Neoskin facial laser treatment at this practice.

Superb Care/Compassionate Service for my First Ever Surgical Procedure (Septum/Nose Surgery)

Dr. Jennifer Parker Porter's work ethic was incredible, from the moment we met she thoroughly walked me through the before and after process and allowed me to virtually see with a picture taken at my first consultation what I wanted to achieve. She answered any/all questions I had and made me and my family feel really comfortable. I had struggled breathing properly before too due to inflammation within my nose and a deviated septum and she was able to fix it all while aligning my nose. Only regret I have is not going to her and her kind team's office and getting the procedure done sooner, healing even better than I expected and having never had any surgery prior to my procedure I was anxious of what pain was to come with much to my surprise I learned it would be so fast and ultimately painless. I'm glad I found such compassionate and highly skilled providers of wellness and beauty. Thank you Chevy Chase Facial Surgery

No More Embarrassing Female Facial Hair and Ingrowns! I Have my Life Back! Chevy Chase, MD

There are countless providers of laser hair removal services for women. However, very few of them offer the services of an actual dermatologist, or even a skilled/experienced aesthetician. Dr. Porter of Chevy Chase Facial Plastic Surgery and her staff are the oasis in the desert. Dr. Porter and her staff's attention to detail and my needs as a patient have resulted in virtually 100% hair reduction, baby smooth skin, no ingrown hairs, no new scarring, and almost completely faded old scarring. I could not be happier with the results. After investing in only 6 treatments to get rid of a what was probably a certified beard (one must have a good sense of humor to survive such shame) and just a few recommended facial cleanser and retinol products, my face now makes me proud! Tears of sorrow, seriously, have become tears of joy. Some background: I am a woman of color (medium-dark) in my early 30s. For well over 10 years, I battled with female facial hair growth. Makeup covered the hyperpigmentation, but it did nothing to hide actual the coarse, dark hairs or the ingrown hairs that caused painful bumps and scarring. While my physicians could not find any particular medical cause, the visible "symptoms" were downright traumatizing and caused me to become a social recluse. I never wanted anyone to see my face without makeup, and touching my face was a proper violation! In my opinion, finding the right dermatologist is key when you're spending your hard earned cash and you're goal is, quite literally, to put your best face forward. You don't want someone who cannot handle a laser (dangerous in the wrong hands) and who only wants to make money off of having you return for unnecessary treatments. You also want a provider who is not going to aggressively push products on you. Chevy Chase Facial Plastic Surgery really is a great office and I am so glad that I found them. I relied on a great online review of these stealthy experts instead of a loud radio ad from nearby competitors. I am so very happy with the results and wish every woman struggling with similar embarrassing facial hair would go see Dr. Porter for help.
