This was my first time getting fillers of any kind. I opted for bellafill for the sole purpose of it lasting longer, thus saving me money in the long run. Also, I like that bellafill stimulates your own collagen growth, which I find more appealing than fillers like juvederm. Given this was the first ever time I have had fillers the result of it was shocking because of how different it looks. After a while I think we all get used to that gaunt, loss of facial fat look, so when you get fillers it looks so odd. That said, after the initial shock I actualy really like what Dr. Hayes did. He did a wonderful job on my face. I had 5 syringes in the cheeks, temples and forhead. The forhead area actualy got rid of that aweful horizontal line that was showing up. I'll likely still need some touch ups, but that's another reason why I like Dr. Hayes, he is conservative with amounts of bellafill used, he actualy told me he didnt want to over fill and that if I wanted more in the future I can always come back to do so. I'll wait to see the end result by 3 months, at which point I'll probably come back to get a little definition on my left jaw bone, nasolabial folds and a very small area that I feel wasnt filled the specific way I am looking for. The staff here, Logan and Raquel were super nice. Me and Logan had a small chat before my procedure and Raquel held my hand the whole time and kept reminding me to breath whenever I started holding my breath lol. I definately recomend this practice, you wont regret. Updated on 19 Jun 2019: As you can see by the first and second front facing photos, you can see exactly where bellafill was placed. I was sifting through my selfies to find a before and I thought this would be the best contrast. The first photo I appear almost 40 years old, (I am 29) and in the second one after the fillers I feel I look congruent to my current age, about 29. The third photo of my face to the side is after bellafill still, but I am showing where above my cheeks to the corner of my eye that some filler is still needed. I also still need some filler in my nasolabial folds. Once completed I think I'll have an over all well rested healthy look to my face again. Updated on 6 Oct 2019: Hey everyone sorry I hadnt received any notifications of comments. I am posting a 4 month post syringes update. In addition to the five syringes I got 3 additional syringes placed. In total the first 5 syringes were placed in my temples, forehead and cheeks. The three aditonal syringes were placed in my cheeks, above my eyebrows and in my sasolabial lines/marionet lines. I will need additional syringes to get to the result I am looking for, and possibly a brow lift at some point as well. I think comparing the before and after you can see why fillers are needed innsome cases. In the brfore photo I had lost all my facial fat, I had looked that way as soon as I turned 25 which is extremely young to appear that old. The bellafill I received has only made me appear more to my age, instead of much older. I think I will also add a photo of me from my early 20s prior to the rapid facial volume loss. You will see why I still feel there is more needed. All in all I have had a total of 8 syringes, and will likely purchase an additional 3 to 4 in the next few months. Thanks for all the responses everyone. Dont be ashamed if you feel the need for cosmetic intervention, sometimes we need it more so than want it. Many blessings.
I have been going to Bridgetown Aesthetics for over a year. I would go and get laser genesis on my face, but kept hearing about this procedure they did called CoolSculpting. I was tired of my stubborn thighs and little bit of belly fat that didn't go away with exercise, so I booked my appointment! Updated on 20 Aug 2018: I will be one month post on my inner and outer thighs and I can definitely see results! The intense pain only lasted for about 4 days about a week after I got it done, then, it was smooth sailing! There is still some random tingles and a little swelling, but I keep my compression garments on and it helps a lot. I am happy so far with the results on my inner and outer thighs! I can tell a difference one month in and cannot wait to see what the next 3 months bring! I will post every month. This reviewer received a gift card from RealSelf in exchange for their review.
After a couple of years of looking through other people's reviews and checking out med spas' specials, I finally decided to treat myself to slimmer thighs I've always wanted. I have an hour glass shape and a great waist, but my thighs never seemed to match my upper body. Even at my skinniest, I always felt my thighs were still thicker than the rest of me. A couple of months ago I attended an open house of Bridgetown Aesthetics in Portland, Oregon where the coolsculpting representative explained the procedure. I entered into a 1 free sculpting drawing and won it! Because I chose to do thighs and I got 1 free procedure, I had to pay for the second one $750. I chose to do my outer thighs. Ideally I would love to have my inner thighs done also, but that will just have to wait its turn. The outer thighs take 2 hours on each side or 4 hours total plus extra time for "before" pictures, measurements, paperwork, restroom break between the thighs, etc. Today was the procedure day. I was super excited. It felt a bit intense for a few brief minutes after the applicator was applied as the ice was doing its magic on my thigh, but soon after the "pain" went away and I didn't feel anything. It wasn't super comfortable laying there for a total of 4 hours. But the aesthetician Melody was super nice and made sure I had everything I needed, including movies to watch or something to read. I was content with my smart phone for entertainment and when it started to lose charge, she went and found me a charger. How nice is that! After the applicator was removed from my right thigh, she massaged the area and let me use the restroom as she set up to do my other side. My treated side felt a bit sore but it only lasted minutes. However after my self side was done, I felt a lot more sore. So much that I walked funny back to my car. It felt sore and intense for about 10-15 minutes, but then it felt totally normal. I am writing this review a few hours after my appointment and feel totally fine. We'll see about tomorrow. My follow-up appointment will be in two months where after pictures and after measurements will be taken. I am very hopeful and excited to see results. Updated on 23 Feb 2015: It's been a little over two months and I haven't noticed anything significant. I finally had a "post" procedure appointment where the aesthetician took new pictures. She sent me the first side-by-side picture. The one on the left is before, and on the right is after. It looks to me like the outer side is smoother and the saddle bags are smaller. I was told that I should see continuous results in the next couple of months. I will update again in 1-2 months.
Small space. The consultant sold me on a treatment for acne scars knowing I couldn’t afford more than one treatment at $900, knowing I would need more than one. She even said “ask your parents for money.” Dr. Hayes started just Injecting my face without warning with his belly pressed up against my arm. The first day looked amazing. But a week later it all dissipated. Saw no results after 7 months. I drained my savings for this! I contacted them and let them know my dissatisfaction. They did nothing to accommodate me. I now have little plastic balls and a layer of bacteria in my face for the next 5 years.
