Bellafill is the best!
ORIGINAL POST
Great Practice.

This was my first time getting fillers of any kind. I opted for bellafill for the sole purpose of it lasting longer, thus saving me money in the long run. Also, I like that bellafill stimulates your own collagen growth, which I find more appealing than fillers like juvederm.
Given this was the first ever time I have had fillers the result of it was shocking because of how different it looks. After a while I think we all get used to that gaunt, loss of facial fat look, so when you get fillers it looks so odd.
That said, after the initial shock I actualy really like what Dr. Hayes did. He did a wonderful job on my face. I had 5 syringes in the cheeks, temples and forhead. The forhead area actualy got rid of that aweful horizontal line that was showing up.
I'll likely still need some touch ups, but that's another reason why I like Dr. Hayes, he is conservative with amounts of bellafill used, he actualy told me he didnt want to over fill and that if I wanted more in the future I can always come back to do so.
I'll wait to see the end result by 3 months, at which point I'll probably come back to get a little definition on my left jaw bone, nasolabial folds and a very small area that I feel wasnt filled the specific way I am looking for.
The staff here, Logan and Raquel were super nice. Me and Logan had a small chat before my procedure and Raquel held my hand the whole time and kept reminding me to breath whenever I started holding my breath lol.
I definately recomend this practice, you wont regret.

Hi Melina sorry I just seen your comment. It depends on your location. Very limited providers can inject Bellafill and you want someine who primarily injects bellafill and is board certified. Google search board certified cosmetic surgeans and call each office to ask if they use Bellafill. Then ask how often they use it and if they use a cannula instead of a needle for injection. If they dont use a cannula they shouldnt be trusted to inject this.

Did you read the Bellafill/artefill reviews on real self? You are a lovely looking girl- I hope you don’t develop the granulomas I did with this product.

Yes I did, and most reviewes are positive. If the filler is injected by someone who is a nurse and not an actual surgean that is a red flag. If they use a needle to inject instead of a cannula thats also a red flag. My question to you is did you have the procedure done by a registered nurse or a surgean and did they use a cannula or just the needle point? Granomulas form with all types of fillers not just bellafill.
This has been a positive life change for me, O really don't find your comment positive, its more back handed out of your own experience. Sorry you had a bad experience but "hoping I dont get granomulas" is basically saying I will get it.
Reminds me of each time I had my children and how an aunt tried saying Id never fit back into my size 3 jeans and size small shirts. I did after a month post delivery after every single one of my four babies were born.
Back handed remarks are the epitome of how women degrade eachother its sad to see that here.

I think it is the experience and skill level of the injector, whether a doctor or RN nurse. I have had one female plastic surgeon who was so quick and rough with her injections and then I have had nurses who spend more time with me, listen to what my issues are, and then proceed gently. I am 59 years old and have been through the gamut of providers and fillers. Nurses can be equal or better than doctors in the outcomes.

Significant improvement, some fillers still needed
Rose8234June 20, 2019
As you can see by the first and second front facing photos, you can see exactly where bellafill was placed. I was sifting through my selfies to find a before and I thought this would be the best contrast. The first photo I appear almost 40 years old, (I am 29) and in the second one after the fillers I feel I look congruent to my current age, about 29. The third photo of my face to the side is after bellafill still, but I am showing where above my cheeks to the corner of my eye that some filler is still needed. I also still need some filler in my nasolabial folds. Once completed I think I'll have an over all well rested healthy look to my face again.

Thank you, I had significant facial volume loss around the age of 24 and have appeared the same ever since. As you can imagine, looking that way in your 20's can seriously affect self esteem. I would try and put makeup on but makeup doesnt solve facial volume loss. Now I can actualy walk outside no matter the time of day and not worry about if the light outside is going to accentuate the deflation in my face.
I had even gone to see my primary care physician to run bloodwork and nothing came back concerning or a possible cause of this facial volume loss.
I routinely was given shocked reactions to peers of mine when my age was disclosed, often being told they thought I was much older. It was extremely disheartening. So I feel alot better now.
I am hoping this filler does last as long as advertised.

Hi Rose- can you please tell me how many syringes you had in each area and total? (ie: one per cheek, etc)
October 6, 2019
Hey there, I actualy had 8 syringes in total as I got 3 more syringes after my initial post was made. About two syringes in each cheek, and with my additional 3 syringes I would say about 2 1/4 syringe in each cheek.

Hey everyone sorry I hadnt received any notifications of comments. I am posting a 4 month post syringes update. In addition to the five syringes I got 3 additional syringes placed. In total the first 5 syringes were placed in my temples, forehead and cheeks. The three aditonal syringes were placed in my cheeks, above my eyebrows and in my sasolabial lines/marionet lines.
I will need additional syringes to get to the result I am looking for, and possibly a brow lift at some point as well. I think comparing the before and after you can see why fillers are needed innsome cases. In the brfore photo I had lost all my facial fat, I had looked that way as soon as I turned 25 which is extremely young to appear that old. The bellafill I received has only made me appear more to my age, instead of much older.
I think I will also add a photo of me from my early 20s prior to the rapid facial volume loss. You will see why I still feel there is more needed.
All in all I have had a total of 8 syringes, and will likely purchase an additional 3 to 4 in the next few months.
Thanks for all the responses everyone. Dont be ashamed if you feel the need for cosmetic intervention, sometimes we need it more so than want it.
Many blessings.

Just FYI I too was excited by my Bellfill results but it's only been ONE YEAR and it's half gone already --the promise was for FIVE years. EXTREMELY dissapointed :-(

That doesnt sound like bellafill. When your injected with bellafill the first initial results are from the collagen that is mixed into the string. That collagen goes away as the body absorbs it. What is left are the permanent PMMA microbeads that stimulate your own bodies growth or collagen. I have an extremely high metabolism which means that after 3 weeks the first results I saw were gone. Now 6 months post opp the areas which were injected have been gradually filling back in as my body reacts to the PMMA microspheres.
The filler it sounds like you received was like Juvederm which is an absorbent filler it is not permanent.
I am not really sure what is up with back handed commenters on reviewes, seems that since I received a very nice result that people who had unsatisfactory results want to extend their dissatisfaction to my experience.
Sorry, but I was injected by an actual surgean with legitamite bellafill product.

You have such toxic positivity vibes. Just because someone expresses an issue they had with the product that you are promoting doesn’t mean they are “backhanded comments”. Kinda immature honestly.

I also use Belafil. I lost a lot of volume in my early 30’s, looked much older than my age. I tried juvederm and sculptra. Neither lasted as long as belafil. I felt like my body just gobbled them up! I have to get belafil about once every 9 months to maintain. It builds in itself and still gives me a better result than the others.
Your results look great. You’re a beautiful woman.

Thank you and yes it does build on itself. Some of the comments here are saying they either lost the volume from bellafill or that they ended up with noticeable granolumas. How long have you been getting bellafill and have you experienced granolumas?
Thanks for sharing your review! I'm thrilled to hear that you are so happy with your results. Would you be comfortable sharing before and after photos with the Community?
