Bosley for Blacks?

I had the Hair Transplant Surgery at the Bosley in Buckhead, Atlanta on February 17, 2018. My doctor was Dr. Richard Lorenz and my counselor was Matt Longshore. The staff (front office and staff who performed the procedures) were nice and wanted to ensure my comfort throughout. I am a Black woman, 47 years old, with no chemicals in my fine 4c hair. I got the surgery because I've been suffering from alopecia for at least 7 years, but was able to disguise it with long hair and specific hair styles. It's only been 4 months past the surgery and PRP combo treatment, but I don't know if the pain, financial expense, and subsequent hair breakage (as my hair knotted up while I couldn't comb/brush it for weeks) have been worth it. My scalp was sore/tender for at least 2.5 months in both the donor and replacement areas. My 2-star rating may change if I see more promise in the upcoming months. Updated on 2 Jul 2018: This picture is taken about 4.5 months post op. There is some hair cover (fuzz) in the once balding area, but I thought the fuzz would cover more area. I'm not sure how thick it promises to be... I'll have another clear close up in another month. Updated on 26 Jul 2018: This is an updated shot of the same scalp area, taken just over 5 months post-op. It isn't much different from last month's picture, but I'm holding out hope as doctors assure it may just begin to grow at about 5 months. I am hopeful, but I don't want to be so hopeful as to disregard actual results.
