I'm Hooked on Taylor and Hydrafacials!

I've had 4 hydrafacials with Taylor so far and am LOVING the results! For the last 2 years I've had really dry patches on some parts of my face while at the same time having clogged pores around my nose and chin. I saw results after the 1st hydrafacial but the cummulative effect of the series has been astounding. The dry patches are gone, I've got way less blackheads and am constantly getting compliments on my skin. Taylor is very attentive and dedicated to providing top notch service. She even did a deep dive into all of the ingredients in the hydrafacial and Skinceuticals products to make sure we didn't use anything with propylene glycol (I'm allergic!). I'm hooked!

Facial with Taylor

I went to Aspira for a facial with Taylor and it was wonderful! She was very attentive to my specific needs and took her time to explain the products and all the steps she was doing. My skin was glowing when I left; I took a dozen selfies in my car to send to all my friends! The experience was a total treat- very relaxing and I left feeling amazing. My skin was sooo soft- it was hard to resist touching all week.

Highly recommend Dr. Erella!

Dr. Erella and his staff at Aspira Plastic Surgery have been amazing from start to finish. I had a tummy tuck, hernia repair, muscle repair and breast augmentation in October 2018. The consultation was free and Dr. Erella spent an hour with me explaining every aspect about the procedures I was getting. He covered prep, what he will do during the surgery, and any aftercare instructions. When I left, I did come up with more questions (I'm just curious by nature) and Dr. Erella met with me for a second consultation. He answered all of my questions in depth and even drew pictures to show what he'd be doing and how the procedures work. I met with Dr. Erella again prior to surgery to go over measurements, implant size, and any last minute questions. Every time I went into Aspira, I was able to meet with Dr. Erella directly. He is thorough, detail-oriented, and emphasizes safety for his patients. He does not sugar coat anything, which I like, and is straight-forward. He may not seem personable at first, but he is actually very funny and kind. He cracks jokes every time I see him for a follow-up! Cindy is amazing too! She works the front desk and helps Dr. Erella with his patients. She helped me book a less expensive surgery center and was up front about cost and expectations. She's also just an amazing person and I love that I can call or email and she will either reassure me when I need it or provide answers to any questions I have. On the day of surgery, I was prepped and met with Dr. Erella so he could make his markings and ask how I was doing. He recommended Exparel to ease the pain of muscle repair during my consultation and I'm so glad he did. My recovery was not bad at all. I had one drain and that was taken out after 8 days. I didn't have any swelling and Dr. Erella was able to fix my umbilical hernia and create a new belly button for me since the hernia left me without. Dr. Erella really paid attention to detail and I can tell by my recovery. Cindy would call and have me on speaker phone with Dr. Erella right after surgery to check up on me. He also met personally with me every time I came into the office to follow up after surgery. He wanted to check the progress of the scarring, the belly button, the breasts, and see how the repair was doing. I never felt rushed and he knows I always have questions so he will wait until I'm sure I have none left after my visits. I cannot recommend Dr. Erella enough. He is fantastic and I'm so happy I chose him as my surgeon. He knows all of his patients and he remembers details about my surgery that I was sure he'd forget by now. At least I would have! Even on his days off or away from town, he still calls Cindy to check on everything. I had something I wanted Dr. Erella to take a look at and he was able to see me right away. He is also double board certified which made me confident that he could repair my hernia and perform plastic surgery. One thing he said to me that stuck is that he wanted to help enhance the confidence I already have. He definitely achieved that!!

You've found your surgeon... Dr. Erella is the best!

My experience with Dr. Erella and Aspira Plastic Surgery was amazing. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Just stop looking....you found your surgeon. But for those that want more details on why I feel this way: I had been considering several different approaches to deal with stubborn fat around my flanks and abdomen mainly that wouldn't shrink, no matter how I ate or exercised. I knew I didn't want anything as invasive as a Tummy Tuck, but was considering both Cool Sculpting and Smart Lipo. After doing a ton of research and narrowing my list to 3 doctors in the area and settling on SmartLipo, I went to visit each. Dr. Erella was the ONLY one to actually meet with me on my initial consultation. And it wasn't some casual, 5 minute meet and greet. He spent easily 30-45 minutes discussing my objectives, assessing my body shape and problems areas and then, in detail, with drawings, explaining the procedure he would do. He put me at ease but also didn't sugar coat where the challenges would be and where the procedure stood the greatest chance of success. His pricing and policies were very fair and reasonable and I actually took the plunge and added a few more areas on my own accord, not through any suggestions or pressure from Dr. Erella. I ended up with Flanks/Sacral/Upper & Lower Abdomen/Arms and Chin. With my safety and results as the utmost importance in his mind, we split my areas in 2 separate days spaced a few weeks apart. Both days, he took his time, had great bedside manner, as did his staff. His technique and approach to fat removal was VERY meticulous and thorough. He really wanted to remove as much fat as safely as possible. Both he and his staff followed up multiple times during my recovery process and were always available for questions after I left. Finally, the results: I couldn't be more pleased with my new shape and how much different I look in all my clothes. The difference has been remarkable in all the treated areas. I've been getting compliments ever since and my confidence in my body hasn't been this high in a long time!! Thank you Dr. Erella!!!! Updated on 1 Nov 2018: I should have mentioned, for the sake of helping others: I am a mom in her mid 30's and I am happy to answer any questions offline, just send me a message on here! I will also mention that due to the fibrous nature of my fat, and the fact he removed close to 6 liters total, my recovery has been painful, but still worth it!

Liposuction

Noniebologna

32 Year Old Cat Lady with Kids Liposuction

Me: 30+ years of low body image and survivor of years of anorexia. After overcoming my eating disorder, I gained a lot of weight and couldn't drop it (except when I had a couple of relapses back to anorexia). I worked out legitimately well - 5x a week - and also ate generally healthyish except I still tend to under eat. Something finally clicked in my head and I decided to pursue liposuction as it had always been a pipe dream for me. My goal was to have my clothes fit better, feel better about wearing fitted clothes, okay taking pictures of myself, and hopefully look a little better naked. Exposition: I have highly functioning anxiety so I researched and researched and reasearched some more. After considering coolsculpting, laser lipo (the non surgical kind), and a tummy tuck I decided on traditional liposuction (laser assisted). Let's be real; I need a tummy tuck if I want a flatter stomach. I don't have the time or support system right now so decided to get liposuction. The search: Thanks to this website, I found Dr. Ven Erella and hallelujah! I had tried getting a consultation from another doctor but immediately felt 1000% comfortable after meeting Dr. Erella. He was thorough, thoughtful, realistic, and at no point did I feel like he was trying to sell me on anything. (Do yourself a favor and make sure to get someone with great credentials AND makes you feel comfortable with a good bedside manner. If they promise you the world without making sure you have realistic expectations, run. Dr. Erella even said it's more important to research the experience others have with a certain doctor/facility than pictures because every body is different. I'll admit I liked looking at the photo results too). The Procedure: Thanks to the pre-op Xanax, I don't remember everything about that day. The procedure itself was so pain free that I fell asleep at one point. It was done in office and under general. The recovery is more painful than the actual lipo. I ended up getting Six areas done: upper abs, lower abs, flanks, hips, sacrum, and inner thighs. Recovery: I only took the pain meds for the first two days. I was mobile starting from when I got up from the operating table. I slept quite a bit the first two days and then only needed Tylenol after that here and there. The pain was at its worst for about the first two weeks but still would only rate it at a 5/10. When staying still, I had no pain. After about week four, I was essentially pain free. (I had been getting back out there lifting heavy things, walking, sweating, and doing all my normal daily activities except going to the gym the entire time). Results: I only regret not doing this sooner. I'm so pleased with my results. My clothes fit so much better and I'm actually excited to wear fitted clothes again. I could see results starting from day one but with the swelling, the most notable started at about 2.5 weeks post op. Yes, I wore my compression garment as recommended for the first six weeks. TLDR: do it! If you're in Austin, TX I highly recommend Dr. Erella with Aspira Plastic Surgery.

Male Tummy Tuck

After Substantial Weight Loss, a Tummy Tuck Was Needed - Austin, TX

After nearly two years of diet and exercise, I lost 80 pounds. Most people that have this procedure done are female; I am a male that that recently turned 50 years of age. I researched many doctors and as well had a recommendation of a different doctor from a coworker. Although my coworker recommended their doctor, I was still not convinced that that doctor was not right for me. After looking through nearly one hundred before and after pictures of patients of several local surgeons, the one surgeon that had consistently good “after” pictures was performed by Dr. Erella with Aspira Plastic Surgery. I set up a consultation with Dr. Erella and asked him many questions. Because I was basing a lot of my initial decision to choose Dr. Erella to be my surgeon from pictures and reading testimonies, I was slightly skeptical that they may have put their best before and after pictures on their website. I asked him if I could see other examples. He pulled out his computer and with complete confidentiality, no names or faces; just folders, he said pick one. He opened the folder up, showed the before and after pictures. I did this with five or six random folders, each one just as remarkable as the previous. He asked me to show him what I wanted to have done and after doing so, we had very long discussion about what the procedures would be, how long it would take, the time of recovery and all of the follow-up procedures. He was very thorough and all the while, I was getting more comfortable with the decision I was about to make. After talking to Dr. Erella for over an hour, I was absolutely convinced; he was the right surgeon for me. He and his staff provided everything I needed to prepare me for my surgery date. They told me exactly what to expect, where to go, what time, what to wear, procedures, everything; all the while making me feel like family. They truly are amazing people besides Dr. Erella being an amazing surgeon. Dr. Erella’s staff members are some of the nicest people you could ever meet. Every time I would see them, they were exceedingly kind. When a doctor tells you that you can call any time, Dr. Erella means it. A few days after surgery I thought I was having a complication and I began to panic. Unfortunately it was 3:00 am. I called his office number and got his answering service. They contacted Dr. Erella. He called me back within a few minutes. I explained my symptoms and he assured me that it was normal and for me not to be concerned. I had a follow-up visit a couple of days later and apologized for calling him at an unruly hour. He said not worry about it and if I had any other issues, don’t hesitate to call. He really is there for his patients, day, nights and holidays. Yes, he even followed up with me around Christmas time. Amazing. It’s been a little over five months since my surgery and let me tell you, I am so incredibly pleased with the results. The first few weeks is not a vacation but bearable. You must have someone there to help you up and down out of your chair and bed for the first 1 ½ weeks. To me, it was well worth the money, time and the slight discomfort I had which I’ve nearly forgotten about already. I want to thank Dr. Erella and his wonderful staff for this great change in my life. Thank you!

Smart Lipo

42 Years Old, 30-31 BMI

I have been researching Smart Lipo on Real Self for years and never felt like I saw women in my same situation, so I felt that I needed to write this review. I am 5'9", large boned with a 30-31 BMI and have always carried my weight pretty well. I have had two children and never quite recovered from the second. I developed a tummy and love handles that were never problem areas before, and put on extra weight in my hips and thighs. I exercise and eat a fairly balanced diet but the fat pockets would not budge from my body. After reading and researching I scheduled a few consultations in my area. I went to the most popular place in town first. When I called they said it would be a $50 refundable deposit to meet with a consultant or $200 non-refundable to meet with a doctor. Since I was in the beginning stages of research I opted for the consultant. She said they could do my 7 areas in one session and outlined a pricing matrix based on who would do the surgery. They had a new doctor in the practice and were offering a special. She would be the least expensive per area if I booked within a few days. They also tacked on $400 per area due to my high BMI. Next I went and met with Dr Erella at Aspira Plastic Surgery. He met with me personally with no deposit and was very detailed in explaining the procedure and discussing the areas I was most concerned with. Note- turns out areas may be called different things by different doctors! He spent a good amount of time with me discussing Smart Lipo pros and cons and/or whether I should be looking at a tummy tuck instead. I went home and did research on both places. I determined that the doctor at my first consult would a Dermatologist. Dr Erella is board Certified in General and Plastic Surgery. It was a very easy decision for me to schedule with Dr Erella. If I have learned anything from my research it is not I always have a board certified plastic surgeon! I scheduled for 2/13/17 and had my pre-op Friday 2/10. The doctor took pictures, wrote my scripts and again spent considerable time with me answering questions and concerns. I told him I had a business trip scheduled the week of 2/20 and was concerned about how I would feel. He asked what kind of meetings I would be in etc and when I explained my itinerary he decided that I would not be at my best for my work commitment and rescheduled for 2/27. We decided on 8 areas at my pre-op in two separate procedures. Upper and lower abs Flanks Hips Upper and lower bra roll Inner and outer thighs I asked my doctor to do the areas in the order that made the most sense for him. On 2/27 I had my upper and lower bra rolls, hips and flanks. I went back on Wednesday 3/8 and had my upper and lower abs and inner and outer thighs done. Updated on 10 Mar 2017: Updated on 10 Mar 2017: Updated on 21 Mar 2017: Updated on 4 May 2017: I am loving my new body. I've told people I feel like these procedures have fast forwarded my body 2 years of exercise and trying to watch what I eat. I got my surgery at my resting BMI, so it sculpted my existing shape and took off the pockets- tummy pooch, love handles and Saddlebags. It gave me confidence to wear things I haven't for a long time, and just not feel self conscious all the time. I will post pictures in the morning when I feel skinniest :-) I also have a weird sunburn right now because I laid out in a bikini and my stomach hasn't seen the light of day in at least a decade!

44 Yr Old, Mother of 2, Smart Lipo Needed - Austin, TX

I am an active mother of 2 grown boys now and it seemed no manner how hard I worked out, I couldn't get the stubborn pockets of fat to tighten up no manner what I did or how hard I worked out. I decided to have a tummy tuck done, but wanted to research surgeons first. After 8 consultations with 8 different surgeons, I made the chose to go to 1 more consult at Aspira Plastic Surgery with Dr. Erella. After spending some time with him, discussing all my options, I decided to hire Dr. Erella for the job! He took the time to really listen to my concerns, what I was expecting from the procedure and from him and made me feel SO at ease with my decision to move forward with this! We together decided the best way to achieve my overall results I was wanting was to start with the Smart Lipo to debulk a lot of my fatty areas. I had the procedure done on August 23, 2016 and Dr. Erella did Smart Lipo on my upper abdomen, hips, flanks and bra roll. Needless to say, I am 1 week out and doing great! I had major anxiety a week before the surgery time, called and discussed my concerns with his assistant and she put me at ease that I was going to do great! I went back to work just 2 days after the procedure and am doing wonderful! In 6 months the plan is to move forward with the tummy tuck! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Erella at Aspira Plastic Surgery for ANY cosmetic procedure you are considering! You won't find a more professional office staff or Physician to perform your procedure!

Breast Implant Removal

69 Years Old with 30 Year-old Encapsulated Implants - Austin, TX

I had implants that became encapsulated within a relatively short period of time. I was way past due to have them removed and replaced, but put it off for fear the same thing would happen again. Dr. Erella from Aspira Plastic Surgery came highly recommended and with good reason. I am five weeks post-op and I am ecstatic with the results. I have exactly what I hoped for, natural looking and feeling breasts. I recommend this practice without reservation.
