Just Ageless

I wanted to review the truSculpt Flex procedure at Just Ageless with Patricia. My experience was wonderful and the results surpassed my expectations.I undertook this procedure after I googled "treatment for Diasasis Recti" and "Recovery from C-section." What came up mostly was Emsculpt. It sounded fantastic, but after more research I discovered that another option was truSculpt Flex. It is not as well known, but after speaking with a doctor who uses it frequently, I felt that it sounded like it would meet my needs better. I was really excited to fund out that Just Ageless offered both procedures, so I went with them, thinking they would give me an objective opinion. I had a consult with Patricia and she felt truSculpt Flex would indeed be best.After my very first session, I felt a real difference. I started having much more flexibility in my hamstrings and I was able to stand and sit up fully straight, which I hadn't been able to do since the birth. I have now had 3 sessions and the improvement is dramatic in my core strength. I have a 25 lb baby and I noticed quickly how much easier it was to support and carry him.Amazingly I was able to return quickly to physical activities (dance and yoga) that I thought would take me months of PT. The procedure continues to tone and strengthen after the sessions are completed, and I'm feeling fitter every day.A nice bonus was the aesthetic improvement :) My middle is more defined and nicely toned.I am so grateful to Patricia, my technician. She was outstanding. She was very attentive to how I tolerated and responded to the treatments, starting me off at lower settings, and gradually working up to a stronger level. She was very detailed in helping explain how the treatment worked and honest about the results I could expect (and she was 100% right, and I am thrilled with the results!) As a new mother, still recovering, I was feeling pretty vulnerable. She was exceptionally kind and encouraging to me throughout.Just Ageless was a tranquil and private oasis. Everybody there treats you like royalty :)As someone who was looking to strengthen and repair their core, following a C-section surgery, truSculpt Flex has been everything I had hoped for. And I fully recommend Patricia at Just Ageless - I have become a huge fan!! - to anyone in a similar situation.(I also had a Dermal Infusion Facial at Just Ageless, which was fantastic, but will review that separately!)

Patricia at Just Ageless is my go to girl for body contouring treatment! She is the absolute best! I've done tru-sculpt flex and tru-sculpt ID treatments on my stomach and the results are amazing as you can see in the pictures below. Not only is there less fat but so much more muscle tone, I am stronger at the gym, and my clothes fit better. Patricia makes sure you feel totally comfortable through the entire treatment, they do involve a little set up time but she is efficient an precise. Her knowledge on the devices and treatments make you feel at ease while being hooked up to the machines and her easy, fun demeanor makes the time fly.

I am EXTREMELY picky with my skin, and who touches my skin. Ali has hands like an actual goddess and takes the time to explain thoroughly what would look/feel best for you. I have received a ton of facials and Ali is by far one of the top estheticians in the city. Highly recommended. Go to her if you want to receive compliments on your skin for the rest of your life.

Jeannel and team are so awesome - I went to Just Ageless looking for a solution to persistent rosacea (and bouts with chronic cystic acne) and they finally helped where no one else had been able to! I had done years of dermatology visits, a full (and extended) round of Accutane, and nothing was helping me get rid of the redness and breakouts. Then Jeannel performed a few treatments of Laser Genesis and Dermal Infusion, and she put me on a brand new skin care regimen (skinbetter cleanser, Interfuse cream and Alto serum, NIA24 skin strengthening complex) and miraculously, the acne is gone and redness is extremely reduced. I genuinely wouldn't believe that these results were even possible if I didn't experience it myself!

I have been researching for a long time alternatives for liposuction and liposculpture. I have been working out and have noticed that my problem areas which is my back fat and a pouch over my belly button, were not going away. I wanted to make sure I went to the best, and I have found her. Her name is Jeannel Astarita, the Director of Skin Care Service at the Chelsea Eye and Cosmetic Surgery.

Patricia, the Coordinator for Patient Services takes your pictures. From the first visit, I knew this is what I wanted, and my mother agreed for a CoolSculpting procedure on her arms as wel. Your success is Jeannel’s success and she motivates you to be the best version of you.

The day of my procedure, I spent my whole day at the Chelsea Eye and Cosmetic Surgery. I was there from 9 am until 8:30 pm. Jeannel and Patricia, the Coordinator for Patient Services, took the upmost care of me. They were always encouraging, and rooting for the success of the procedure. Jeannel relates to her clients and she understands the struggles with losing weight. Patricia also always made sure that I was feeling well. While I finished my procedure, my mother later joined to do her part of the procedure.

When my mother was done, Jeannel offered us complimentary “Hollywood Peels” and skin care recommendations based on our needs. My skin looked glowing and clear, even my pores looked smaller. My mom’s face looked a lot brighter and she was so impressed with the results, that she is going back for a series of peels.

It has been a week, I feel great. I have been eating healthy, and I can now resume my exercise routine. I will see Jeannel in 5 weeks for a check up.

I had Coolsculpting to smooth out some trouble areas that have been difficult to reduce and isolate with normal exercise workouts and healthy eating.

Trouble areas: love handles (bra fat area) a very long pinch 2" fat roll that was very noticeable with any shirt. Current circumference is 34"

My back/inner thigh on the right thigh (they call it a banana role). Current circumference is 27"

I had a consultation from Chelsea Eye and Cosmetic Surgery and a 2nd consultation from Skinworks. I went with Chelsea Eye since I felt more comfortable and they seemed more qualified in the outcome and treatment results.

I read the reviews, read articles of Zeltig years ago so I had an idea of what to anticipate. I had also tried treatments of Velashape and Endermologie to treat my areas. They were only temporary results.



My procedure was suppose to be roughly less than 5 hours for the back, 2 cycles overlapped back to back and then for the thighs since it was more a complicated area to isolate and set up. I was there longer since the Assistant called in sick and was there from 2-930pm! It was actually a very comfortable procedure despite the ridiculous thought of being suctioned like a vacuum and frozen to a device surrounded by air pillows to keep you stable and comfortable. I was able to eat when I was upright for the back area but it just seemed silly to be eating my dinner while getting fat frozen!

The vacuum suction is actually nothing, the release afterwards and massage feels like trying to wake up a sleeping arm/foot sensation or when you spend time out in the cold and your get the frozen burn sensation from exposed skin. It's so minor and goes away within minutes. Be prepared for a bit of swelling in the suction area along with bruising. I bruise easily and had very dark red/maroon bruises that night.

***Drink lots of water, use Arnica Gel repeatedly every 3-5 hours to your bruises to reduce swelling and bruise healing quickly! I also use Arnica pills. My bruises went away within 5 days.

Now the thighs, that was a bit more uncomfortable for 30 mins after the device was removed. It's a more tender area and also if they rub together already you just feel very raw. Kind of like cold burned skin, extreme staffing, a bad bad sun burn or strange swelling & numbness. I had to wear a tight lycra blend camisole for my back and spanx shorts to ease with rubbing and friction. I couldn't walk without the shorts. 3-4 days later no need for the shorts. My left inner thigh still has small areas of numbness but extremely better and almost feel normal.

Back has no bruises, wore a bralette on the 5th day, a soft bra on the 6th day.

I'm looking forward to the results.

A few things for you:
1. wear some type of spans or compression under garments to ease your swelling/tenderness.
2. drink lots water to flush out toxins, hydrate skin
3. use Arnica gel and pellets to improve your swelling, bruising recovery in 1/2 the time
4. Get Neurontin RX the minute you start experiencing dull to sharp intermittent pain in the areas of treatment for your nerves.

Make everything easy for yourself, why suffer!? I think it's worth the process if you just prepare yourself and ask all the right questions.

Looking forward to seeing results in a month, 2 months and then 3 months.
Will have to get the before photos from the office to share in a month to see if there is visible change!

Last week, I was in a business meeting with a new client and she stopped me mid-sentence to say, "Your skin is absolutely flawless. What make-up are you wearing?" Completely flattered, I thanked her but had to tell her that I don't wear make up any more. Not since I met Jeannel Astarita.

Jeannel started working on my skin just about a year ago, when I was wearing foundation, and powder with highlighter daily. I had some early signs of aging, and some sun damage. Ultherapy was well worth the price tag and discomfort, which were both big concerns. Jeannel took the time to prepare me completely on what to expect. The treatment itself wasn’t pleasant but her comforting manner got me through it. It also helped that I knew that at any point I had the option to have injections to numb the area if I couldn’t handle it. The results snuck up on me. It was the perfect complement to the Botox and little bit of filler I had already been getting with Dr. Eviatar. Ulthera worked in a very different way. It wasn’t just about softening my frown and the krinkles around my eyes or holding onto my cheekbones. Ultherapy actually lifted my eyebrows, opening up my eyes and reinstated the tight jawline I had been missing. My skin looked and felt lifted, snug and youthful again. This is a jewel that every woman deserves!

I had the treatment late spring and while at a birthday party this summer, (not mine), almost every woman, (and gay man), came up to me in the room to say, "you look amazing! What make-up are you wearing?" So, it's not that I hear this comment every once and awhile. I hear it from friends and strangers weekly

Throughout this year I never once felt pressured. All my choices were simple because of my sincerity, knowledge and obvious passion for her work. So I just had Ulthera done yesterday and I am thrilled already. I had read a lot of mixed reviews about it online before deciding to do the treatment and was a little nervous. But my fabulous technician Jeannel Astarita had prepared me in great detail what to expect. I have to say it was so much less painful than i had expected. From reading online i got the impression that it was a very painful treatment- I was pleasantly surprised! Jeannel explained that there have been changes to the procedure. The discomfort passed very quickly and now I am feeling tighter and younger already. I can't wait to see my long term results.

I was referred to the Ultherapy tech, Jeannel Astarita from a friend who has never looked better.
Jeannel is now at Chelsea Eye and Cosmetic Surgery on West 19th street.
I did an IPL photo facial $400 with her in April to get rid of some broken capillaries on my nose and a few brown spots on my face and hands. She's amazing, from the start she suggested a plan and products that would hit all the things that bothered me in stages so I didn't stress about the money. I'll do another IPL in the fall and maybe try a peel. I want to keep my skin looking this good.
It's been 7 months since Ulthera and I'm still thrilled! My jaw and neck look great! Those nasty jowls look better. My skin just looks tighter , more even... healthier.
I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

Just so you know I would not waste my time to post a review if I wasn't above and beyond happy. I suggest if you want to complain that you focus it on the technician /office that performed your procedure. Knowing exactly what to expect is a big part of their job and you clearly didn't because you would know that you don't see real results for at least 3 months which my technician informed me of. Maybe you needed a facelift? I didn't! I'd rather do this every few years to stay tight and fresh and skip the knife. Jeannel was always available to answer questions that came up as I was healing. I was numb for a few weeks we talked and she put my mind at ease. Why isn't the office you had it done at helping you deal with your concerns??? I think you need to focus your frustration on the source instead of bashing a website. Bottom line, you need to really trust the person who treated you which is why I used Jeannel Astarita, she delivered everything she promised and made me feel like her most valued patient. I happily recommend her to everyone that compliments my refreshed looks. I hear it a lot too!!
