First of all, before even getting to the work and amazing results, the warm service, support, and reassurance of the staff was incredible. Especially Barbie! I did lipo of outer and inner thighs with fat transfer into the hip dips. I didn’t want to look fake or overdone, just to get smoother, improved and rounder hips with a slender outer thigh, and now over two months out from the procedure I...
Everything started with the way they treat you at the office. Everyone was pleasant and attentive. My consultation with Dr. Rubinstein was more than I expected. He talked to me about the procedure and ask me my concerns and expectations. He explained it with words I understood , and I left the office knowing what to expect , no surprises and of course my surgery date. The surgery went as...

I’m so thankful for a noninvasive treatment that targ...
I had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Rubinstein's office and working with Ramzi on my Emsculpt treatment. I was preparing for a trip to Europe and was blown away with the results. I have lower back issues from playing sports my whole life so it makes it difficult to do the same AB exercises that I used to be able to do. Emsculpt was easy, painless, and the results were better than any workout...
A: Thanks for sharing your pics. As a doctor who offers J-Plasma (now called Renuvion) I can give you my best advice. I understand that you don't want to have a tummy tuck at this time. That's fine, but you need to know that choosing not to have a tummy tuck will limit your results. Renuvion (J-Plasma) will never be the same as a tummy tuck. If that were the case we would never do tummy tucks. Still, you can expect a nice improvement in your body contour with lipo. I would recommend Renuvion for you upper back where there is a smaller amount of excess and the Renuvion would tighten the skin and smooth the contour nicely. As for your breasts, you are definitely a good candidate for breast reduction.
You should check out my Instagram @drrubinstein for some before and after examples and my story to see live surgery and possibly watch Renuvion being done. You can also check out my IG @plastcisurgerytruths for more good info about plastic surgery. I wish you the best of luck in your journey.
A: Ideally, the best aesthetic result is achieved when you remove all areolar skin that is not going to be part of the actual areola after surgery. In some cases either for shape or tension control some areolar skin can be left behind. In my experience that is pretty rare, though possible. You can always seek another opinion to see if a revision would be helpful. The good news is that a revision is usually a much easier procedure than the original operation. I'm confident the excess areolar tissue can be eliminated if thats what you would like to do.

A: Over the years I have operated upon many patients that have back issues. Some cases require special care to be certain that the patient is comfortable for the procedure. Most patients are fine without any changes to our usual protocol for care. In fact, I have found that many patients with lower back problems actually feel better and often experience less discomfort after a tummy tuck due to improved core muscle support. Part of a tummy tuck realigns the abdominal muscles which can make the support for the back better. Its not uncommon for patients to even have better posture after abdominoplasty. Of course, every case is different and if there are special considerations in your case I would recommend having your surgeon speak with your back specialist prior to surgery. I'm confident that you can comfortably go through an abdominoplasty with good care.

A: The short answer is you're probably in no significant risk for infection. One month after surgery your incisions are fairly well healed. You're definitely healed enough to do most activities without any fear. Having saliva spread across the incision is definitely higher risk than most other activities, but still probably OK. Just keep an eye on things. As long as there is not increasing redness and/or pain you should be just fine.

A: It usually takes about 3 months for the swelling to completely resolve after breast augmentation. I wouldn't get too upset about how things look and feel at one month. Stay patient and wait another couple of months to allow the healing process to move along. Your breasts will change quite a bit between now and then.
Getting the size just right after breast augmentation requires really good communication between you and your surgeon. I've found that simply talking about cup and bra sizes is not always so accurate. The image you have in your mind when you talk about a certain size may be very different from the image your surgeon has in his/her mind when hearing you. In my practice I use a process called Customized Breast Augmentation that takes the guesswork out of choosing your implants. The whole surgery is customized in the operating room for each and every patient. Implants are selected during surgery using temporary implants that show how the permanent ones will look IN YOUR BODY. No need to guess prior to surgery since I'll see exactly what different implants will look like before committing to the actual permanent implants. The attached link explains a little more about that technique.
If you're still unhappy at three months after surgery the good news is that you can always have the implants exchanged for something that more suits your goals. Implant exchanges are much easier than the first operation. Hopefully it won't come to that. Best of luck!
