	Poikiloderma is refers to the mottling of sun exposed areas of the skin most especially the d&eacute;collet&eacute; chest. It manifests as redness causes by widened capillaries, as well as dark and light spots. There is often a sharp cut off line at the pint where the affected area ends in the neck area. It is believed to be cause by sun damage caused by chronic sun exposure Using the VBeam pulse dye laser which treats in the 585 nm wavelength, the patient improved after only 4 treatments.

Although port wine stains affect one in every 300 babies born, there are often many uncertainties regarding what causes the condition.
