A woman in her 50s, 3 months post-op rhinoplasty. This patient had an overly-projecting nasal tip and a dorsal hump. Nasal tip de-projection was performed in addition to a dorsal hump reduction. The key to this patient is the nasal tip de-projection. With just a standard dorsal hump reduction alone, this would have created a long appearing nose. Tip de-projection creates a conservative change of her nose to result in a natural appearance of the nose which is smaller in all dimensions and fits her face.
