15-25 yo male c/o left ear protruding. He was born without an antihelical fold in the left ear causing it to protrude further then the right ear. He underwent a left ear otoplasty under local anesthesia to recreate the antihelical fold.

	This patient came in complaining about her ears sticking out. This was a result of having large cartilages that make up the bowl of the ear as well as poorly defined structures of the top of the cartilage, leading to a floppy ear. Dr. Balikian performed an Otoplasty to treat both causes of the protruding ear. The result is a naturally pinned back ear.

She is very happy and now wears her hair up, something she never did before. The incisions are hidden in the natural grooves behind her ears. Her height is 5 feet 6 inches and her weight is 112 lbs. She has one child.

The natural folds of the ears which are absent in cases of protruding ears are recreated through an otoplasty to setback the ears.

Complicated case of an earlobe reconstruction for a patient who had undergone previous aggressive earlobe reduction elsewhere and wanted her earlobes restored. Ear cartilage grafting and rotational flap was used to reconstruct the bilateral earlobes.
