This Asian female patient came to us for consultation to address the sagging tissue under her chin and loss of profile. Together we decided to perform a necklift. We removed the fat under chin and tightened the underlying platysma muscle both underneath the chin and from behind the ears. The procedure was performed comfortably under local anesthesia (with mild oral sedation) in our center. Her result is a significantly more defined jawline and profile while maintaining a natural appearance.

This young woman presented to our Center with the complaint of excessive neck skin and loss of profile. She had weight loss surgery in the past with a loss of over 150 pounds. This deflation resulted in her having excessive sagging of the neck and lower face. Under local anesthesia and oral sedation with valium (no IVs used), we performed a necklift and lower facelift. The procedure time was under two hours. Her result demonstrates a much improved natural profile with a sharpened jawline.
