This woman of Middle Eastern descent presented with the concerns of tired looking eyes. She did not like the heaviness above, nor the hollowness and depressions below. Exam revealed excess thin skin above each eye along with volume loss in the upper cheeks and lower eye rims. We agreed upon performing an upper blepharoplasty (eyelid lift) to remove the excess skin above, and fat transfer under the eyes and cheeks. Both procedures were performed on the same day in our Center under local anesthesia with mild oral sedation. Her results demonstrate much healthier and natural appearing eyes. This combination of procedures is very common, with only stitches being needed above the eyes and one below the belly button (to remove the fat for transfer).

The patient underwent a high lateral SMAS face and necklift. The SMAS elevation supports the facelift so that their is minimal tension on the skin and enhance the possible longevity of the face and necklift. Along with the face and necklift she also had fat transfer to the face. Fat was transferred tough out the face and temples to restore the volume she has lost over time as we age. The combination of tightening and filling of the face gives her a much more youthful but natural appearance. This pictures show her two month result.
