45-54 year old woman treated with Chin Liposuction, CO2 Laser, Double Eyelid Surgery, Eyelid Surgery, Fractional Laser, Laser Re - This woman presented with drooping of the upper eyelids, heavy under eye bags, and fullness in her chin that just bothered her! Dr Woodman listened to her concerns and provided a conservative approach that gave fantastic results. Removing excess skin from the upper eyelids, some of the excess fat that filled out the lower lid (some of us with hollow under eyes WISH we had that fat under there!), and a bit of lipo below the chin were the only incision points, with the only scar left visible being a tiny one under the chin. The laser Blepharoplasty (Upper Eyelid surgery technique we use) scar is hidden within the natural crease, the lower incision is in the lash line- you will never see it!To finish, Dr Woodman gave her an overall CO2 resurfacing refresh, and the results speak for themselves.

Comprehensive Post Weight Loss Surgery for a Remarkable Total Body Reset - This transformation required a comprehensive post-weight-loss surgery plan because one procedure alone would not have addressed the full extent of our patients excess skin. Our patient is a 32-year-old White male who came to Dr. J. Timothy Katzen after an extraordinary weight loss journey. He had previously been morbidly obese, with a maximum weight of 440 pounds, and through diet and exercise, he lowered his weight to 154 pounds. Although this was a life-changing accomplishment, he was left with significant loose skin throughout multiple areas of the body. Under general anesthesia, Dr. Katzen created a body transformation plan that included a circumferential body lift, brachioplasty, medial thigh lift, and torsoplasty with vertical incisions along the sides of the body. A circumferential body lift removes excess skin around the abdomen, waist, hips, and lower back to create a smoother lower body contour. Brachioplasty, also known as an arm lift, removes excess skin from the upper arm. A medial thigh lift targets loose skin along the inner thigh, resulting in a tighter, more refined leg shape. Torsoplasty with vertical side incisions helps remove excess skin and flab from the side of the chest, improving the chest contour after massive weight loss. Together, these post-bariatric body contouring procedures helped reshape multiple problem areas that exercise alone could not fix. These photos were taken 1 year after surgery and show our patients remarkable results. His body now reflects the discipline, sacrifice, and determination that made his weight loss possible.

Brachioplasty Restores Smooth, Toned Arms and a More Youthful Contour - Loose skin on the arms is a common concern after major weight loss, and brachioplasty can offer a lasting solution when skin does not bounce back. Our patient is a 68-year-old White female who had previously been morbidly obese, with a maximum weight of 170 pounds. After losing weight through diet, exercise, and GLP-1 use, she reached 120 pounds, yet she was still bothered by the excess skin on her arms. She turned to Dr. J. Timothy Katzen for brachioplasty, also called an arm lift, to remove hanging skin and restore a firmer, more sculpted appearance of the upper arm. Performed under general anesthesia, this plastic surgery procedure involves carefully placed incisions in the inner arm, excision of redundant skin, removal of excess tissue when needed, and precise redraping of the remaining skin to create a smoother contour. Brachioplasty is especially helpful for post-weight-loss patients whose skin has been stretched and has lost the ability to contract on its own. The goal is not only to remove extra skin, but also to create better arm definition and a more proportional silhouette. An arm lift can make patients feel more confident in short sleeves, sleeveless tops, and everyday clothing. Her post-operative photos were taken 5 years after surgery and still show remarkable long-term arm lift results with tighter upper arms, improved contour, and a more youthful appearance. Her beautiful, durable outcome demonstrates how brachioplasty can provide lasting improvement after weight loss.

Arm Lift / Brachioplasty surgery After Major Weight Loss Removes Hanging Skin - Transformation after major weight loss can leave behind loose, heavy skin that does not shrink on its own, and that is exactly why our patient came to Dr. Timothy Katzen for an arm lift, also called brachioplasty, in Beverly Hills. Our patient is a 32-year-old White male who was once morbidly obese and reached a maximum weight of 440 pounds. Through diet and exercise, he lost a massive amount of weight, reaching 154 pounds, but the skin on his upper arms remained stretched. During brachioplasty surgery under general anesthesia, Dr. Katzen carefully removed the hanging excess skin and fat from the upper arms to create a firmer, smoother, and more proportional arm contour. In simple terms, an arm lift is designed to reduce the bat wing appearance that many massive weight-loss patients struggle with after major weight loss. The incision is usually placed along the inner arm so extra tissue can be removed, and the remaining skin can be reshaped into a tighter, cleaner outline. The goal is not just smaller arms, but tighter arms that better match the patients new body. These post-weight-loss brachioplasty photos were taken 1 year after surgery and show remarkable arm-lift results, with a more athletic shape, less sagging skin, and a significant improvement in confidence. This before-and-after highlights how arm contouring surgery can complete the weight-loss journey and help patients feel more comfortable in fitted clothing and in daily life.
