We rolled out the red carpet for this lovely patient! As we age, our skin loses its fight with gravity and drooping can impact us in different areas, so its not a one-size-fits-all packaging. For this patient, her aging was focused down the center of her face rather than down the jowls, which tends to be most common in women. So for her, Dr Woodman went with a Brow lift to focus on the eyes to brighten and lighten the center focal point, then give her a strong chin before using his signature Deep Plane Facelift technique to set her face and neck lift, aligning her muscular structure flawlessly so her skin is not stretched unnaturally.Typically, our after photos for facelift patients are taken after six months, because as you will see, this patient still has some swelling (the face can take up to twelve months to fully heal!!!), but she is SO pleased with her results she wanted us to show off Dr Woodman's work now.

She was gorgeous before and all we did was my DEFINE LIFT. A Deeplane Extended Facelift Including Necklift and the Elevation of the brows, as well as a touch of fat transfer. Another beautiful example of my Define lift. You can see the natural elevation of her brows giving her some upper eyelid show without needing a blepharoplasty. Her jawline and her cheeks are elevated due to my extended deep facelift, as well as judicious fat grafting to the midface. Her neck is clean and crisp. This is due to my deep neck lift which I adjusted the glands to tighten the muscles of the platysma, she is in her late 40s or early 50s and this is the perfect time for an intervention because her collagen and elastin are still good. She still looks amazing and the lift will be durable and last for several years. This is the defined lift difference subtle but substantial.

This 71 year old gentleman presented requesting improvement in his loose neck tissues only. He is 6'3 tall and weighs 195 lbs. A neck lift with platysma plication, (muscle tightening), was done. His results are shown at six months after his surgery.

A neck lift can be performed with a limited incision that starts at the ear lobe and goes behind the ear and into the occipital area. These incisions will allow for muscle tightening and skin removal to rejuvenate the neck region.

This older gentleman presented with the desire to lessen the heaviness and waddle under his chin.  He had attempted a few different non-surgical options without significant result.Pre-op examination demonstrated severe laxity and fat deposition underneath his chin.  Note that he did have a pre-exising vertical scar next to his left eye along with a pre-existing indentation above his ear from wearing eyeglasses.We decided together to perform a necklift and lower facelift under local anesthesia (with only mild oral sedation with valium) in the office.  Procedure time was slightly over 2 hours time and all sutures were removed by the end of week #2.  The majority of his swelling resolved by the end of week #2 as well.His results demonstrated marked improvement in his profile and overall heaviness of his lower face.

She had attempted a few treatment of ultherapy and radiofrequency without any substantial improvement and wanted a more permanent, and significant, solution.We agreed that a lower facelift and necklift (with liposuction) would be the best treatment. Under local anesthesia and oral sedation with xanax, we performed a lower facelift and necklift in less than two hours (surgical time).Her results demonstrate significant reduction in the overall heaviness of her face, while creating much better angles to her jawline and profile.
