This 30 year old patient previously had a breast augmentation performed by another surgeon and was unhappy with her results. She was interested in exchanging her implants and also including an internal bra or capsulorrhaphy. One of the most common revisionary breast surgeries performed is a capsulorrhaphy. The capsulorrhaphy procedure, also known as pocket correction or use of internal sutures/bra, involves closing a portion of the breast pocket to correct displacement of the implant. She began to research revisionary surgery online and came across a plastic surgeon she was interested in. She saw that he specialized in revisionary surgery so she decided to schedule a consultation appointment to meet with him and discuss the procedure. She came in for a consultation and after her appointment she felt that he was the right surgeon for her. She scheduled her surgery soon thereafter. She is currently 2 months post revisionary surgery with 750cc smooth round high profile silicone gel implants produced by the Mentor corporation.
