In addition to other facial procedures (facelift, lip and chin augmentation), this patient wished for improvement of her skin texture, tone, and fine lines/wrinkles. We treated her with the Lutronic eCO2 fractional laser (one treatment only on day of her other procedures). Her recovery was about a week, and then was mildly pink for two additional weeks (she was allowed to use makeup). Her skin, and results, continued to improve for about 6 months after the procedure as new collagen formed and skin contracture occurred. Her procedure was safely performed under local anesthesia with oral sedation with valium in our office.
