This patient in her mid-40s wanted to improve the appearance of her abdomen, flanks and inner thighs as well as enhance her buttocks. She and Dr. Howell chose to proceed with liposuction and SmartLipo to the abdomen, flanks and inner thighs in combination with BBL fat injections to the buttocks. She could have benefited from excision of the excess abdominal skin, but she did not want to do that. This patient in her 40s desired improvement of the contours of her abdomen and flanks.  She elected to proceed with liposuction and SmartLipo of the abdomen and flanks.  The SmartLipo offered her additional skin tightening than what she would be expected to get with just liposuction alone.  She was also offered an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) procedure, but she preferred the minimally invasive option of SmartLipo, understanding that SmartLipo would not be expected to give her as much skin tightening as a tummy tuck would.  The SmartLipo did give her a shorter recovery and less external scarring, however.  The photos show her before and 3 months after the procedure.  She is happy with her result and with her choice of procedures.  Her surgery was performed by Dr. Hampton Howell.

This patient underwent a smart lipo of the abdomen and lower back flanks. Her skin tone was excellent, despite having had one child prior to surgery. A change in contour is achievable without noticeable scarring.

Another example of a clean jaw line, both submental and angle of mandible, to bring out this patient's natural beauty in a one hour smartlipo procedure.

A medium sized lady achieves natural looking results with a two hour awake procedure using smart Lipo. Small and targeted pockets of fat can be removed to improve appearance even when the patient is not otherwise overweight.

This patient underwent awake liposuction of the abdomen, lower back flanks, with small volume (about 500cc) fat grafting to each buttock region, results are shown at the three months mark. Incisions, still bright red, are well demonstrated, and are expected to fade to a white imperceptible color of the next 6 months.

This patient tried and exhausted all non invasive options, including trying coolsculpt and kybella, with no results. She came to me and I recommended laser liposculpture. Here she is 2 years later on follow-up view.
