Los Angeles patient came to our office for permanent makeup removal at the eyebrows.  Very, very dark brows and after 5 visits, brow coloration is almost completely gone.  Treatments done with the Palomar Q Yag 5 and Medlite C6 Nd:Yg q-switched lasers.  Treatments done approximately 2 months apart.  2% Lidocaine injections used for numbing.  Patient wanted to pencil her eyebrows subsequent to this treatment and has very little hair before and after treatment.

Cosmetic tattooing is a procedure that tattoos pigment onto areas of the face that mimics the appearance of makeup. Cosmetic tattoos are used by people who have sensitivity or allergies to traditional cosmetics, people with difficulty seeing, and patients who are unable to apply makeup due to conditions like arthritis or Parkinsons disease. In addition, it is also beneficial for those who do not have facial hair due to allergies, hair pulling, or aging and genetics. After the areas of the face receive cosmetic tattoos, the makeup becomes semi-permanent and will not wash off from water, cleansers, or sweat. Cosmetic Tattooing is usually applied to the eyebrows, upper and lower eyelashes, and the lips.
