Our patient is a 40-year-old White female who came to Dr. Timothy Katzen with worsening pain, burning, itching, and hard lumps after foreign body injections were placed in her buttocks and hips. She had been told the injected product was Biopolymer, but over time the material caused increasing symptoms and migrated into both groins, also called the inguinal region. To help relieve pain and remove the damaged tissue, Dr. Katzen performed silicone injection removal with a posterior butt lift using the open technique under general anesthesia. Our patient is a 39-year-old Hispanic female who came to Dr. Timothy Katzen with worsening pain, burning, itching, discoloration, and migration after having unregulated foreign body injections performed.
