V-SERIES treatments also come with little to no downtime and don’t require anesthesia, making them well worth considering for people who want to avoid the expense and recovery period of invasive surgical options.

Dr. Anil Rajani, a physician in Portland, Oregon who specializes in aesthetics, calls the V-SERIES "an essential part of our practice because they deliver effective, customizable RF treatments with minimal discomfort and downtime." He praises the platform's Switching, Vacuum, and Cooling (SVC) technology for making radiofrequency (RF) treatments safer and more comfortable than older technology. V-ST skin tightening

Your provider can customize the penetration depth for a range of treatment areas, including the forehead, cheeks, jowls, and even more sensitive areas like the neck, around the eyes, the lips (where it can create a subtle plumping effect), elbows, décolletage, knees and the neck.

V-ST works through a combination of “Channeling Optimized RF Energy Technology (CORE)” and contact cooling that heats and shrinks the collagen and elastin fibers deep within your skin. Afterward, skin looks firmer, smoother, and more elastic.

For optimal results, some providers recommend a series of 3 treatments over 6 months.

V-Form body contouring and cellulite reduction

Treatment plans vary, but it’s common for people to need 3 to 6 sessions, every 2 to 4 weeks, to see the best results.

V-Nd:YAG

V-FC treatments are designed to smooth and firm skin on the face (especially jowls that often form as skin sags), under the chin, the neck, décolletage, backs of the hands, and back. This noninvasive procedure can also reduce the appearance of cellulite on the thighs.

Dr. Hayre is a longtime fan of the device. “The V-Form is the best cellulite device I have worked with, plus it helps with skin tightening on the body,” she says. “Our clients love their results!”

The V-FC device offers radiofrequency (RF) energy with CORE technology for depth control to deliver controlled heat to the desired layer of skin—customized to the body area and concern.

Heat is followed by a vacuum massage, to stimulate circulation and make the experience more comfortable.

Most people need three to five treatment sessions to see optimal results, with each session taking 15 to 20 minutes.

There’s no need for anesthesia and no downtime afterward, though you may have some irritation that should resolve within a few hours.

So how well does it work, and is it safe? A study published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology in April 2025 found no significant side effects during or after a V-FC treatment, even when providers used maximum power. Even better, it found a "progressive proliferation of fibroblasts, elastin fibers, and neocollagenesis [new collagen growth], which was significantly higher 4 weeks after treatment."

By the end of a series of treatments, researchers found a 34% improvement in "average skin laxity grade baseline," "with the average rate of improvement assessed as moderate." In other words, while people with severe skin laxity may want to consider a more invasive procedure (like a facelift), V-FC is an effective treatment for people with mild to moderate sagging.
