Thanks for your question. It is a great concept - shrinking the blood vessels to reduce the redness - but unfortunately some patients experience what you are going through with rebound redness and ineffective or inconsistent results. If the cost of the Mirvaso outweighs the benefits, you might want to talk to your dermatologist about a vascular laser treatment or series of laser treatments that can permanently reduce your redness and flushing. +1 answersThank you for the question. Mirvaso has been found to cause a rebound effect in patients. There is a new alternative that seems to be doing better: Rhofade. The treatment for rosacea is multifactorial - photofacial, sunscreen, avoidance of triggers, antibiotics, soolantra, etc. Everyone responds differently to treatment regimens
