Hi, It has been 7 days since my HT and I have been shampooing my hair daily since the last 5 days ,as per my doctor's advice. I don't apply it directly ,I just apply the foam and gently dab my hair . However ,for some reason it seems that the shampoo sticks to my hair and I have to repeatedly pour a lot of water(for 15-20 mins) to get the shampoo out of my hair . Is there any chance that this pouring of water (through a mug) has damaged the grafts?
Had HT 4 days ago,the clinic said to wash my hair everyday for 10 days. Today is the 4th day and scabs aren't falling. I think its because i don't wash properly,i am very scared if i pour lot of water on my head i might dislocate grafts. i gently pour water from a cup on my head and tap gently.some times lotion is still on my head after drying but i'm scared if i wash harshly i will damage grafts. Please advise, so i can remove scabs by the 10 day period without causing damage to my hair. Thanks
I applied a 50/50 solution of hydrogen peroxide & water in a misting bottle to my recipient area 5 days after a hair transplant to try to help dissolve crusting. after few minutes I drizzled some straight water over this with a cup; then lightly shampooed barely touching and rinsed again. I later read on internet that hydrogen peroxide is toxic and will damage grafts. Is there any hope that I may be safe since it was day 5 & the scabs may have acted like a protective cover against peroxide?
