I had a revision rhinoplasty and the surgeon had to harvest ear cartilage from the one ear. The ears are now uneven and it is a noticeable asymmetry between them (the conchal bowl of the one ear is much less deeper than the other). I do also have a visible scar , because the surgeon used the anterior approach to harvest cartilage. The surgeon is willing to use laser treatment to fix the scar, but he thinks that I am crazy when I am saying that my ears are uneven and that I want that to be fixed,He refuses to fix that, so I have to go to another surgeon to fix that. (Please see my review and my questions for more information) . What about you who had a rhinoplasty and needed ear cartilage graft and it was taken from the one ear? Do you think it is unreasonable to want this asymmetry to be fixed?
