I had a septo-rhinoplasty six weeks ago with dorsal hump removal. I made a point to let my surgeon know I don't want to end up with an upturned nose. Mine was on the upturned side to begin with (apprx 115 degrees before) so I was very concerned about any further rotation. 6 weeks post my nasolabial angle is 135 degrees. It hasn't dropped at all since surgery day. My surgeon says it will take 3 months before the tip begins to drop... but I've lost faith. I'm already beginning to shop for revision surgeons (its so much $$$) and I'm avoiding friends and family out of sheer humiliation. Has anyone had this experience and the tip in fact did drop? If so please share pictures and your experience so I know there's hope.
