Dr. McClellan, Becky, the entire staff, and the staff at the Mon Gen Outpatient Surgery Center made my experience the best medical treatment of my life. Dr. McClellan is so knowledgeable, always citing studies for the way he practices. I appreciate his bedside manner and honesty. It's very refreshing to have a plastic surgeon be honest with you while so many others push unrealistic results on you. MPS is clean, professional, and I always felt taken care of. My recovery has been easy with no complications and my results are exactly what we discussed. I'm so thankful to have found a local surgeon that I can trust and highly recommend MPS to anyone interested in plastic surgery.

I've never had any type of surgery done so I didn't want to take this lightly, plus I wanted the amazing results that I got so I researched plastic surgeons from Pgh, DC, Baltimore, Morgantown and Huntington for months. I started considering Dr. McClellan because of how close he was to me and all the information he provided on his main website, I researched him very thoroughly. The more I read the more impressed I became. I saw how educated he was, how involved he is in the medical community and knew I had to schedule a consultation. When I first made my appointment I was absolutely terrified and nervous, I kept thinking I was going to so overwhelmed and intimidated with knowledge. I researched what questions should be asked to make sure I was making the best decision. It finally came time for my first appointment and when I arrived the office and staff was very pleasant and comforting. They quickly got me put into a room and Dr. McClellan was quick to get to me. He is one of the most down to earth Dr's I've ever met. He has amazing bedside manner and treated me as person not just some random patient. He spoke of the procedure and outside life which helped calm me. Him and his assistant helped me pick out a size that was best for my body type and wouldn't make me look top heavy. I decided to go with 435cc under the muscle, it's the biggest that they could put in. My left one was really high for awhile because it was such a struggle to get it to fit. It did take them about 3 months to start dropping and get feeling back. I still don't have full feeling back in my nipples :(, it kinda comes and goes, underneath is still kinda numb as well. I do wish that I was able to go just a little bit bigger but I did go from a barley full 32/4B to an over flowing 32DDD! The whole process was such an amazing experience, any questions I had were answered quickly and with honesty. I took my husband to the pre-op appointment and even he felt that I had made a great choice in Dr's and was (of course) excited to see the final results. My follow up appointments went great and we were all very pleased with the results. It's been 10 months and they seem like they have fully settled and my incisions are fully healed. I did use a scar cream to help lighten them.

Great experience. Very happy so far. Only on day two post op. Will continue to update. Dr.McClellan did an amazing job! 475cc high profile over the muscle to fill my deflated breast was the perfect option. I have to wait and see how the settle If I'm completely satisfied with the size (may want bigger) but so far looking great. This was as big as I could go now anyways. Updated on 18 Oct 2016: Sore but not in pain. Was able to go out to town today with no issues. Rested in the afternoon pain was very manageable. After losing 100lbs I decided that saggy was NOT a look that I could live with! I am 57, but don't need to look 57. I hated seeing that lose skin on my neck and the drapey crap at my mouth. My upper eyelids were sliding south at an alarming speed. Enough was enough. Off to the plastic surgeon I went and we agreed together that I would have a full facelift and an upper bleph. I skipped having a mini facelift because I didn't want to lose the results in ten years. I wanted permanent results. Nine days ago I underwent the procedures and an incredibly happy with the results. While I was researching this procedure I did a lot of googling and came across this site. I have read a bit of everything, even some very sad and scary ex-plant stories as well as some sad implant stories. Not going to lie, it definitely turned me off wanting to get implants for a while that's for sure. Through all my googling and research I was able to come up with some great questions for my first consultation. I scheduled this consult with a very reputable and well known local surgeon. From what I had read on his site I found comfort in the fact that the health and safety of his patients comes first and after speaking with him I found out that he preformed the most breast aug surgeries in our area. Dr. McClellan is easy to talk to and his office manager Becky is amazing! I instantly loved them both. The first part of this meeting was with the doctor he sat with me and answered all of my questions and I answered his, he explained that he interviews his patients as they are doing the same to him. He would not want to take on a patient he considers a poor candidate. Turns out I'm a great candidate with no health issues, no major bad habits that could effect the outcome and physically fit. I explained that I want to look natural, no "bazooka boobs" for me. I barely fill a 32A and maybe a full B or C would look good? The doc stepped out allowing me to change into one of those papery tops with the opening at the front. He came back in with Becky who would be my main contact before, during and after the procedure. He took measurements and and held up some implants to my breasts to get an idea of which might be the best size for my frame, also taking into account my somewhat narrow hips. He recommended a range of 275cc's to 325cc's, though he started to think that 300cc's was definitely my "sweet spot" as far as how they would fit me. After the measurements the doc left so I could put on my sports bra to try on some implants with Becky's assistance and valued opinion.... it was so much fun and I had to laugh because I got to remove the padding I have in every bra I currently own, I won't need padding for very much longer :). Updated on 29 May 2016: My surgery is scheduled for August 15th! I did so after I made sure it worked for moms schedule too since she will be my main nurse. Boyfriend will be around, but I need my mama. Almost immediately after scheduling I felt remorse kinda like I made a huge mistake (buyers remorse?) and I contemplated just cancelling and losing my down payment. It took about four more days to get into a positive mindset and now I am happy and excited about my decision to make this change for me... absolutely cannot wait until the big day! My contact, Becky, was able to get me in touch with a former patient to speak to about her experience and it was so nice to hear from someone who had been in my current position. Her only wish was that she had done hers sooner so that was comforting. I also was out on the boat this weekend and met a woman who turns out is married to my boyfriends buddy and she had hers done two years ago by my surgeon, go figure! She is beautiful all around and her two year old assets just add a little something extra. She started flat like me and got 320cc's which is right around where I want to be. I can only hope to have the outcome that she walked away with. Side note: she may be going even bigger in August since she had now "stretched out" enough to take a larger implant. Updated on 1 Jun 2016: So I just wanted to add some photos I already have of how I look in clothes. I am athletic and petit with boobs to match. Love getting dressed up, going boating, running races , etc.... I just want to look and feel sexier/more womanly while I do it all :-). Updated on 21 Aug 2016: I had my procedure on the morning of Monday August 15th, I took the rest of the week off, started as a 32AA, got 325cc's silicone mod plus in each breast inserted through inframary fold. My mother came into town to care for me during this week. Right before going under I met my nurse that would prep me and monitor me before could leave following surgery. The procedure took about 1.5 hrs. I had to eat two small packets of crackers and drink a bit of water without throwing up before leaving. I was successful but I had terrible dry mouth so the mix of crackers and water made for a paste tough to get down. I heard it was common following the procedure. I only needed my pain med on Monday and Tuesday, then only had a couple Tylenol since then for very mild discomfort due to tightness across my chest. The bloating was truly the worst part of recovery. I drank miralax four times starting on Tuesday and it was too mild and then I used milk of magnesia once and that did the trick on Thursday but my "number 2" was not normal until Saturday. I had zero bruising, Tuesday I threw up three times right after my nausea patch was removed at the docs for my follow up visit. I was already nauseated from the car movement getting there. I iced a lot and I mean a lot, per the surgeons instructions. I definitely recommend it but listen to what your PS says. On that note research and find someone who you are very comfortable with. For me that meant someone who listens and does what's right based on the well being and uniqueness of each patient. His priority is the safety and health of the patient and working toward a realistic outcome. I didn't had "wish pics" because I can only look like me. Even if I got the same size as someone else my body and features are still my own. I just wanted to feel more feminine, fill clothing out more, be in proportion to the rest of my body. Updated on 21 Aug 2016: Updated on 14 Sep 2016: I was cleared to start working out close to my four week mark even running! :-) A few things I need to continue to stay away from are push ups, pull ups and lifting over 15lbs. Updated on 15 Sep 2016: Ran 3miles this morning and it's feeling so much more natural! I think my left breast has come down a bit more to match my right but my nipples will never be even, love them anyway????. Updated on 20 Sep 2016: I absolutely love my new breasts! My left one has finally evened out with my right side and they are feeling more pillowy.... if you can't tell I'm just having a really good boob day and wanted to share. Updated on 13 Jan 2017: I still love my enhanced breasts and having fun with new styles. My confidence is higher and they feel like a part of me :). I've gotten new bathing suites for this coming summer (I'll share one here), can't wait to wear them all! I felt like a bombshell on New Years in a very sexy dress, I think i shocked a few people. Haven't had any rude comments, just support from friends and family. My scars are looking good and I feel like they've settled all around,

Dr. McClellan did a wonderful job genuinely listening to my concerns and it shows because he couldn’t have done a better job at delivering exactly what I wanted. I wanted to make sure that I wouldn’t have that “overdone” plastic surgery look and that I would still look like "me"... just better. Even my closest friends haven’t even picked up on the fact I’ve had rhinoplasty done because of the high quality work Dr. McClellan provided. I truthfully wouldn’t go anywhere else to have a procedure done. With Dr. McClellan’s office, I have the confidence knowing that I am in good hands throughout the entire process from start to finish. Awful "deflated" boobs. Starting a new life, wedding next year & need a boost in my self-esteem. Always hated my tiny flat boobs... Seems like such an extreme move but wearing "adds 2 sizes" bras is not only "weird" looking, it's kind of cheating. I also would like to wear a shirt with a low back or a lace back & no tacky bra straps showing! To me, "sexy" is a woman with curves and that automatically means boobs! Updated on 13 Oct 2015: Thought laying down before & after pics might be worth comparing... Got a call from the hospital today, my surgery is scheduled in the morning... The butterflies are almost unbearable... At my pre-op appointment I was a nervous wreck. I was nauseous and I couldn't see, I literally saw spots & could not focus, I had to sign 9000 pages of intake forms and do lab tests, some blood, urine and a nasal swab. It's almost too much to handle. Never having surgery before, or any broken bones, this is quite the adventure! Updated on 4 Nov 2015: Still swollen, sore, but no pain. I think they look like torpedos... Waiting for them to "fill out"

I recently had my breast augmentation and I couldn't be happier with the results. I went with the Sientra textured round implants and the end result is exactly what I was hoping for. I had some swelling and slight brusinig after surgery but post op swelling was gone by 3 weeks. I've posted a couple pics a few hours after surgery and at 18 days. Updated on 3 Jan 2015: I've gotten a few requests for updated pics on my results so I wanted to post a couple recent pics at 11 months. Still doing well and happy with the results. They seem to have settled nicely and I have the natural look I was hoping for.

I went today 9/04/15 for my consultation for breast augmentation. I have always had small boobs a size 36A except when i breastfed i was almost a double D. I was licky and didnt end up with saggy boobs after but they shrank alot smaller than i began with. I went in today wanting and hoping for a large C cup result and my PS recommended 485cc in right breast and 435cc in left. I am 5'7 120# and i do not normally workout though i recently started 30 day ab challenge haha. Would like to hear from others what to expect? What supplies i shoud get before surgery and basically anything anyone woud like to share with me. Also i am a smoker and was told i had to quit now or he wouldnt go through with surgery. Anyone else that was a smoker if so what were complications and recovery time like for you? Updated on 15 Sep 2015: Hello i have a question for all you ladies has anyone ever had low thyroid problems before? Here is my story i have an almost 4 yo son and when i was pregnant with him i like so many others developed low thyroid during pregnancy and normally after you give birth the thyroid goes back to normal well not the case with me. I have been battling super low thyroid for over 4 years now and the doctors send me to specialist whom never really solve my problem they have never put me on medication for it. Well i had bloodwork done friday and once again like always its super low so have to get another full pannel of bloodwork done this week but my primary care provider has restricted me from having surgery (breast augmentation) because my levels are again dangerously low and there are so so many risks but heart attack while under anesthesia is number 1 concern. I have spoken to my plastic surgeon and he doesn't seem to care about thyroid levels and said its whatever im comfortable doing but i will not be refunded the $550 deposit i made. My question for you ladies is has anyone else gone through with surgery with low thyroid issues? I have been wanting this for so long and hate to put it on the back burner yet again but at the same time risking a heart attack for the sake of boobies isnt really worth it. Im so confused and upset and dont understand how PS can say he will do it and PCP say she wont sign off on it because its to risky..
