I was made to feel at ease during the consultations and prior to the surgery. Post surgery I had the best aftercare, I had questions which weren’t ever too much trouble to put my mind at ease. I would recommend this surgery and surgeon to anyone who is contemplating having the procedure done. I am overjoyed with the results and have regular compliments from family and friends.

I couldn’t recommend Dr. Mahajan more highly. From my very first consultation, he was clear, kind, and genuinely easy to talk to. He immediately listened to what I wanted, understood the nuances of my concerns, and made all the available options clear without ever pushing anything I didn’t feel comfortable with. He respected my preferences, was realistic about results, and honest about expectations. After our first meeting, he took the time to go away, think about my specific needs, and contact me with a revised approach that he felt would be a better fit. He adjusted the plan, offered more affordable options, and clearly explained the pros and cons. I felt completely at ease discussing something I’d been self-conscious about for years, and found the process surprisingly liberating and empowering. What I appreciated most was that he understood not just what would work for my body, but also what felt right for me personally. I had my treatment under local anaesthetic and felt comfortable and in exceptionally safe hands throughout. The staff at Evolve were calm, friendly, and made the entire experience feel easy. It’s amazing that something I’d thought about for so long could be addressed in such a short time. My recovery was smooth, no discomfort, clear communication from Evolve, and straightforward aftercare advice. This was my first cosmetic procedure, and it took me a long time to finally take the plunge, but I’m so glad I trusted my instincts and chose Dr. Mahajan. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

My whole experience has been fantastic from start to finish. Professor Mahajan was professional, talking through the treatment options, explaining the pros and cons. Talked me through the procedure during the initial consultation. He made sure that I was having the procedure for the right reasons. Booking the procedure was easy, and the operation took place just a few weeks later The operation itself was completed in theatre under local anaesthetic. I was worried about the injections, however I was given constant reassurance and everything was explained as we went along. There was music playing in the background the whole time, and the atmosphere was relaxed and good humoured. I was able to ask questions and could even look at what was going to happen. I was relaxed the whole time, and the whole procedure was painless. Once the operation was completed, I was given aftercare advice and follow up appointments. I was provided with contact numbers if I had any questions or any issues, which I didn't The healing process went well, and I had no pain in my face. I was back to work within a week I am now three months in, and I have to say the results are fantastic. The scarring is minimal and cannot be seen as it is well hidden under the hairline I cannot praise Professor Mahajan and his nurses enough

After considering this procedure for close to 4 years, or as long as I can remember, I can honestly say it is one of the best things I have ever done. Professor Mahajan was very attentive and understood my concerns, he carefully explained the procedure and I instantly felt in safe and capable hands . There was two reasons I delayed this surgery for so long : 1. Embarrassment of having to address my biggest insecurity 2. Whilst it can feel embarrassing to have to share something so personal, the second I spoke about this I felt a wave of relief. Professor Mahajan reminded me that he is very experienced in this procedure, and just know that you are not the first person and certainly won’t be the last to visit for the same reason. For me, a few visits of feeling a little bit out of my comfort zone, are nothing in comparison to a new lifetime of confidence I have now gained, and I am so, SO, glad I didn’t let the initial fear put me off. I will never look back and haven’t done since. My only regret is not doing this all them years ago. 1. From reading experiences elsewhere online, I was nervous about the recovery process. Whilst there are obviously risks with any procedure, the surgery and the recovery was no where near as bad as I had imagined. On the day, I was greeted by the professor and the fantastic nurses, they were all so kind and professional and it really put me at ease. They played some music and we chatted the whole way through. I can’t express how much all of their kindness made this experience so positive for me. After arriving, I was leaving 2 hours later and have never felt so much relief. The first few days post op were uncomfortable at the most, there was a little swelling and bruising as expected but by day 5 I was resuming some light household activity. I am now 12 weeks post op, and I have resumed everything as normal. I can run, swim, walk my dog, and life my life the way it was before, but with so much extra confidence. For anyone considering doing this, please don’t let the fear stop you and just know that the team are here to support you and make you comfortable throughout the process. Recently having had a three month review for my scar revision procedure I would just like to say I am thankful to Professor Ajay Mahajan and those who work with him. I was nervous before having scar revision as I could not find a lot of imagery or experiences online for the type of scar that I had and also because it was on my lip of all places but Professor Ajay Mahajan knew what to do and it was all a very mind easing process. After a family recommendation to Dr Mahajan for eyelid surgery this year I finally booked an appointment after much deliberation and had the procedure. I am more than happy with the results which have made such an improvement to both the look and improvement of vision to my eyes The clinic and all the staff were both extremly professional and caring giving excellent aftercare With this in mindI would have no hesitation in further recomending Dr Mahajan to anyone requiring treatment and would like to thank him and all the staff for all their help and consideration

I wish I could give Ten stars, Professor Mahajan’s work on my eyes, which was upper Blepharoplasty was faultless from start to finish. An excellent surgeon I would recommend to everyone. He also has an amazing team of nurses who work alongside him.

The procedure is not for wimps but in my opinion completely worth having. The initial injections to numb the site were painful but soon over. I was worried about having the procedure whilst awake but once I got used to the pulling feeling and the cutting sound it was fine. I could ask for more aesthetic when I needed it and it worked quickly. The whole experience took 3 hours in total and I soon relaxed into it and listened to their banter (amusing) whilst it was going on. They checked that I was alright all the time and kept me informed about what they were doing.. The first week of recovery was a bit difficult. The first few days were quite painful. After that it was more uncomfortable than painful. The bandage round my face was itchy but I put soft fabric underneath it and that sorted it out. I stayed in bed and just let myself recover for about 5 days after which time I felt up to doing jobs around the house. I would allow 3 to 4 weeks before you plan to go anywhere special. It takes that long for the bruising and swelling to subside. I am so pleased I did this. I has really helped my confidence and made a big difference to how I look. Professor Mahajan was a delight. Gentle, kind, professional and reassuring. He did a marvellous job and the aftercare was excellent. Jay his assistant was also a gem. Friendly, professional and always there to support me. I am now nearly 5 months in and it looks fabulous. In fact it looked really good within 6 weeks. I would totally recommend Prof Mahajan as a surgeon. Very professional and experienced. He took me through a challenging procedure with gentleness and reassurance.

I wanted to share my experience having labiaplasty surgery with Dr. Mahajan at Evolve Medical clinic in Leeds, as I know how nerve-wracking it can be to research this procedure and find the right surgeon. Initial Consultation From the very first consultation, Dr. Mahajan put me completely at ease. His approach was both friendly and thoroughly professional - he took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions without making me feel embarrassed, and never rushed the appointment. I felt genuinely listened to and understood, which meant everything when discussing such a personal procedure. Surgery Day I'll be honest - I was quite apprehensive about being awake during the procedure. The anaesthetic injections were very uncomfortable initially, but Dr. Mahajan and his team were incredibly reassuring throughout. Once the local anaesthetic took effect, the procedure itself was surprisingly comfortable, at times when I felt a slight pinch more anaesthesia was injected. I felt very relaxed throughout. The nurses and team at Evolve deserve a special mention - they were absolutely wonderful. So caring and supportive from the moment I arrived until I was settled in the recovery room. Their kindness and professionalism made such a difference to my experience. Recovery Process The first few weeks post-surgery were challenging, I won't sugarcoat it! There was significant swelling and I was quite uncomfortable, but paracetamol helped take the edge off the discomfort along with taking things very easy. Practical recovery details: • I wore sanitary pads for around 6 days post-surgery as there is a fair amount of spotting during this time • Toileting required extra care - I used a water bottle spray and very gently dabbed dry with wet tissues - this careful routine continued for about 4-5 weeks • After removing the pads, I was most comfortable in some comfy baggy trousers with no underwear for 4 weeks (the underwear seemed to rub a little too much) • I could walk around the house immediately and managed gentle walks outside within the first week • I returned to work after 2 weeks (I'd definitely recommend taking the full 2 weeks off work or any activities) • Sitting for long periods remained uncomfortable for 4-5 weeks, but from the 4-week mark, each day got progressively better • I applied a bit of Vaseline from week 4 onwards to prevent clothes rubbing • The dissolvable stitches were completely gone by 4 weeks • I avoided strenuous exercise for 8 weeks and returned to all my normal activities (including biking and swimming) by week 10 At my follow-up appointment, Dr. Mahajan showed me my before and after pictures, and I genuinely couldn't believe the transformation. The results exceeded all my expectations. Final Thought I am absolutely over the moon with my results and honestly cannot recommend Dr. Mahajan highly enough. From the initial consultation through to the surgery day and follow-up appointments, his care has been exceptional. But beyond his wonderful bedside manner, the actual surgical work is incredible. Today I had my 3 month review following upper blepheroplasty with Professor Ajay Mahajan. I am extremely happy with the results. When he showed me the before and after photos its was amazing to see the difference. I am definitely glad I had it done as its given me back some lost confidence.
